Western Star - Hop Kettle - 4.5% ABV. B++, well balanced. Big malty, spicy base. Rye with a lingering gentle bitter finish

3.5/5. First time at The Hop Kettle, Gloucester. Brewing on site, great view of the Docks but no customer WiFi. Great beers so far. @beersofmastodon

Hedge Hop - Flacks - 4.9% ABV. B+, big and malty with a slightly spicy body. Pleasant bitter finish. Not quite my bag

3/5. Cask has just come on. Had it before and it’s slightly better fresher, as you would expect. Nice Pump Clip though. @beersofmastodon

All The Simcoe Ladies - Arbor - 7.2% ABV. B++, piney, tropical, tingly on the tongue with the alcohol nowhere to be seen. Wonderful

3.3/5. Cask Belgian / British Lager and it’s a little corker. What’s better the cask is fresh on and it’s only £1.88 a pint @beersofmastodon
