Saving the animals in super Metroid comes to mind. There it little to no benefit from saving them, but it feels good to me to do so

Seems to be living up to hype so far, really glad that we now have a team who will do JSR justice

I’ve disliked realistic art styles for quite a while now. In the short term the games look beautiful, but in the long term, they’ll look dated. I’d much prefer a game having their own look and style to it, something that says “yeah, this is X game” just from a screen cap.

Look at JetSetRadio, Okami, Minecraft just to name a few, they’re easily identifiable because they have their own style

Would it not be? All your friends would be on the same platform, playing together, having the same games and experiences together

Not even, you still have to consider different components and operating systems, sometimes even what versions of the OS people are running since it’s not always cross compatible.

    Which not every game supports.

the people that use the steam community forums is minuscule compared to most forums. I doubt it would have had even 2% of the playerbase organized via the forums.

it’s like how when reddit users say “let’s boycott a game!” but then in total, the make up less than a % of total sales of that game

It’s still a good game, it just sucks as a fallout game. Like, the dialog is extremely linear. You have 4 options (you had more in the other fallout games) and it’s almost always a “yes”, “yes 2”, “more dialog” and “no”. It’s likely changed to accommodate controllers better and have less lines for the player character, but it just sucks that’s it’s the case.

Sorta the same with the story bits. In New Vegas nearly every, if not all NPCs were killable and you could still finish the story

Minecraft is our typical go-to, though if we just want to pass time, We'll jump on Bloon TD6

using emulators could be a good idea. if battery life is an issue then NES, SNES and GBA RPG games could be a good choice
