Pretty much the same reason I bought 76 too. I think I’d like it with a crew, but I don’t really play like that these days. I do find that the community is really friendly and helpful though when you come across people.
Had no idea there was a next-gen update coming. That’s exciting! Fallout 4 already looks great on my Xbox Series X so I can’t even imagine what better looks like.
I instead started a new Fallout 4 game. Currently helping Valentine get out of a bind.
I don’t hate Fallout 76 but I can’t get into it. I think because of the lack of story, the fact that I can never find any good gear, and the quests I’ve found have been pretty boring. I need some semblance of structure or my ADHD brain is saying bye bye.
I still remember how well that propaganda worked on people. It became commonplace for liberals to complain that the OWS protests were aimless and lacked message.
I protested at the DNC years ago with an anti-war group. Liberals won’t listen to anything that even remotely pushes them out of their comfort zone. They’d rather keep voting until something magically changes (it won’t), or they waste the rest of their time criticizing you for “allowing the right to win.”
I have to say, it’s pretty fucking annoying to be scolded by liberals that do nothing but fill in a circle, while you’re doing things like marching to protest war, writing articles, participating in things like Food Not Bombs… meanwhile, they are in a state of malfunction because you refuse to vote for one of the two right-wing candidates propped up in front of us by the ruling class so we can do the same old song and dance again while thinking something will be different this time.
I’m still getting a feel for it, so I started off with the basic warrior and barbarian classes. I want to switch to something ranged because the skeletons kick my ass solo, but they look squishy too. What’s a class you’d recommend for a n00b to the game? I had fun as the rogue but might try the wizard or the arcanist next.
I just got it in the Steam sale and it’s kicking my ass lmao. It’s fun though and I like the format. It kind of forces you to try and find others to play it with so you can help each other out.
My instance will most definitely not be federating with this. It’s Meta. Untrustworthy to the core. I didn’t spin up my own Lemmy server and pay out of pocket monthly just to loop bullshit social media companies back into it.
It’s the corporate class protecting one another’s shared interests in the US. Kick TikTok out and suddenly it paves the way for a competitor like Meta.
