In the hour since I posted this I got to the end. Yeah, that was great but I wish there was more. I’d be excited to hear if they ever make a sequel.

On 5 September 2023, Annapurna Animation announced an animated film adaptation of Stray is in development after the success of its first film Nimona (2023). Robert Baird, co-head of animation, felt the game was suitable for adaptation due to its popularity, as well as its buddy comedy and hopepunk elements.
So there’s that. Though it makes me sad to think we needed to make “hopepunk” a word; how is having hope a “punk” thing? :|
So, the electronic parts appear to be 100% non-user-repairable. I’m sure Apple’s main motivation was to reduce the size and weight, but this is still a $3500 disposable item. Has anyone identified the “killer app” yet?
Huh, OK. That never crossed my mind while playing TTP / TTP2 but I can see how that would be distracting from the puzzle solving.
Funny thing is, after I finished Witness, I went back to play Braid, the earlier game by the same creator and its look & feel just never worked for me at all. So yeah
So, that was a passive tech, keeping you in a place, and this actively works to steer you to where you need to be. This seems better in the long run for that purpose even though it’s much more complicated.
Noob question here: when KDE 6 is released, when would I then see it as available in my Ubuntu 22 / 23 app store for download? Right away or years later?
Uhh, unless you work for Apple, on this product’s team, you’re no more informed about what it is really doing than we are. Imo, people should be concerned about this kind of technology.
