Todd bought Fallout because Fallout was only just seen as a way to make merch out of. Yes, let's have vault boy on everything, let's have nuka-cola replicas, let's have bottle cap replicas .etc

But nothing about whether or not the games are even worth a toss to play. There's people who still to this day, favor FO 1, 2 and New Vegas. They were made with a level of charm and care that got YOU to where you are today. FO 3, 4 and 76 all feel like just empty open worlds with recycled material, it's running in place with no forward progression.

The OG creator of FO may be a humble guy, but the series still deserve better.

I loathe that platforms treat themselves this way. We see this happen over and over again when a newcomer comes into the field to shake things up. They become, eventually, the best alternative. They eventually become the only thing.

There's no point in debating anyways. What has Trump done in all of the debates he's ever partaken in since 2016? Mudvayne is only happening because Hellyeah is mostly done after Vinnie Paul's death. Not sure how they'll be, if they'll be anything.
Korn has been sucking.
Slipknot is a little unstable right now.
System of a Down isn't really doing much and Serj Tankian hasn't been that interested in rejoining the band.
Deftones is solid.
Limp Bizkit is a has been, also fuck Fred Durst.
Disturbed is just okay.
Papa Roach is so-so.
Static-X is just a tribute act these days.
Drowning Pool lost a lot of relevancy.
Mushroomhead seem to be doing fine.
Alien Ant Farm is still doing something but they're so-so. One hit wonder.
CrazyTown is more or less dead.
Ill Nino is just up in the air.

Okay, so there's game delays that actually have helped some games. Then there's games that sit on Early Access for what seems like forever, wondering what the fuck are they doing, like 7 Days to Die.

I like and respect games that, take their time because they want a certain vision of a game to work itself out as intended. I don't like and respect games that need to rush for the holidays or need to rush for company appeasement.

Competition is healthy for business. It is what is needed to help people find alternatives. Not to say handhelds like the Nintendo Switch is bad, but it should not be the primary method to play games with.

The only people keeping this idea that there must be one primary source of gaming on the go, are rabid fanboys who're thick into tribalism that wants to see only one option available.

Here's the deal, we keep the game costs where they are, but you need to stop pulling unrealistic ideals to match up to. And you need to stop shitting out bad games just to keep the trademarks alive and other copyrights. Give us GOOD Megaman games, not whatever Megaman Dive is.

We need to go back to the model of where making good games was a key priority. Why have you forgotten this?

There's a lot more that went wrong with Daikatana than just a new engine.

The entire game was overhyped blandness. Just Romero throwing his name out there to get attention than letting the game speak for itself.

I'm probably some of the few that really didn't see what was so special about Quake II. I guess on a technological level, it's an improvement. But I didn't care for the change of environment and everything was leading towards another redundant aliens (if the Scrogg can even be called that) vs human army game.

I was hoping Quake 1 had gotten the RTX treatment and remaster.
