stormesp, to games in Horizon Forbidden West is now available on PC

Maybe you should reflect on that mate, even if it was true that those were done in photo mode, not in engine, photo mode does let them change light, focus, blur, depth of field, and so on, which would by definition be already bullshots not how the game looks in movement. Not to say that its obvious most of the steam pics do have post edits. So yeah, i think this place is indeed becoming worse than reddit, there people wasnt so protective of game companies to such a stupid level and people didnt take offense from a comment about the steam page of a game that doesnt even talk about the game itself.

stormesp, to games in Fights In Tight Spaces devs announce fantasy follow-up Knights In Tight Spaces

I found Fights in tight spaces just fine, but this one is looking really well

stormesp, to games in Horizon Forbidden West is now available on PC

Thanks for stating im right. Have a nice day and try to not be so passive agressive with someone that is stating facts and not even saying anything bad about a game in an online forum.

stormesp, to games in How 2001 PC Game Majestic Almost Transformed The Gaming Industry

I had never heard of this game, pretty cool concept. www.youtube.com/watch?v=fv9t5zg3O_Y This is the video the article seems to use as a reference in most of its images.

stormesp, to games in Horizon Forbidden West is now available on PC

The game has been out for more than 2 years, not 1, most of what is in the trailer and screenshots of the steam page is cinematics and bullshots, bullshots are in game images edited to appear better than they are, most of those fit that definition, both by framing and by retouches that are not present in moving gameplay, like lighting fixes, focus, depth of field etc. Im not critizing the game, just stating what is on that steam page, which is pretty sad for a game that has been out for more than 2 years and has pretty good graphics by itself.

stormesp, to games in Horizon Forbidden West is now available on PC

For a game that has been released since February 2022 to only have bullshots on their steam page… Edit: Even the trailer they have on the steam page for the pc release has barely 10 seconds of real gameplay in 1:30 minutes, they really dont believe in people buying the game for what it is.

stormesp, to games in Free Nomads of Driftland: The Forgotten Passage

Remember that GOG subscribes you to all their marketing bullshit when you claim a free game, so just a reminder to go to your gog account settings and disable all that shit.

stormesp, to gaming in Positive ‘Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League’ User Reviews Split Unusually From Critics

Please, i played the closed beta, the game is terrible, the only reason it has positive reviews in steam is because of the low playerbase that is fooling themselves because they purchased already. Just check the small number of reviews and concurrent players for a game this big. The main point to make out of this article is that most people already saw from a mile away that the game was terrible from the youtube previews and closed betas

stormesp, to games in Replacing the term "Metroidvania"

The worse take i have read in a while, you can say the same about anything, fps, tps, rpg and even visual novels or action adventure, they are more frameworks than genres by their definition, even racing or sports games.

stormesp, to gaming in 10 Days Into 2024 And 2300+ Video Game Layoffs Have Been Announced

Sadly its also going to steal the position of a lot of people on AA and middle to indie size studios that need to cut costs to actually stay alive. Obviously some studios will stay afloat without cutting people or going deep into AI content but expect that to the exception not the rule.

stormesp, to games in [Creetosis] Bethesda's Emil Pagliarulo is an Incompetent Writer

Yeah, this guy and some people on reddit have a hate boner for Emil for some reason when he has been the lead writer since Fallout 3 and has been in several games that are loved by most people like Fallout 3, Skyrim etc. But for some reason this guy and some others started a witch hunt against Emil more or less recently, its fine if you dont like Bethesda game, i like them just fine, but stuff like this does nothing. (And no surprise this bullshit is shared by Nanoufo, number one contributor to sharing the most bullshit articles of shitty websites and youtubers tbh)

stormesp, to games in Sean Murray is risking another No Man's Sky launch disaster, but he knows exactly what he's doing and it's kinda genius marketing

If you bothered to read my comment, i said that before anything else, i apreciate the effort of generating content. But at the end of the day its not of much use for anyone flooding a community with shitty content.

stormesp, to games in Sean Murray is risking another No Man's Sky launch disaster, but he knows exactly what he's doing and it's kinda genius marketing

God lord, can we get a bit of filtering on the bullshit of articles that get posted on this community? I apreciate anyone that spends their time filling this sub with content, but the quality of the content shared is just terrible

stormesp, to games in Ex-Rockstar dev miserably fails at explaining why GTA6 can't come out on PC alongside PS5 and Xbox Series X

dsogaming is one of the most garbage “gaming” news sites, they are just a clickbaity website that does 0 research on their articles. I appreciate that nanoufo wants to keep the community alive posting a lot, but the amount of bullshit he shares from shitty websites is amazing.

stormesp, (edited ) to games in Ubisoft blames “technical error” for showing pop-up ads in Assassin’s Creed

The main menu was already a front end for ads and the games were full of microtransactions in the last trilogy, they have no shame.
