biribiri11, Mfw CentOS Stream 9, using a kernel, compiler, and glibc version from 3 years ago, still manages to pull ahead of software released a few weeks ago on hardware released years after Stream 9’s original release.
LeFantome, I assume your comment is about FreeBSD but Ubuntu 24.04 is Linux “software released a few weeks ago” and it did no better than CentOS Stream 9.
FreeBSD led on quite a few benchmarks. Quite interesting.
