I know it’s Ubisoft, but friends I played Division 1 and 2 with recommended Ghost Recon Wildlands. On sale for $4.99usd. Picked it up and really enjoying the open environment and gameplay.
Finally bought the DLC to risk of rain 2 and it’s an amazing DLC. So much was added and it makes the game a challenge again. I can’t wait to get off work to continue playing it
I just picked up and started playing Brütal Legend. It’s pretty fun. If you are a fan of Tenacious D or anything else Jack Black has done you will probably enjoy it. It’s basically an Isekai story where you play as JB in a fantasy world inspired by heavy metal aesthetics.
About to finish that one after several years, so I picked up that dev’s latest game. I’ve heard it’s even better, so I’m quite excited. DOSin2 is one of the best games I’ve played.
Nothing has really caught my eye so far. I have a handful of wishlisted games, some of which are on sale, but I just don't feel compelled to get them. I'm actually considering trying to dig up my old SSI gold-box titles and see if I can get DOSBox or a VM working instead (though housework and farming generally eat up my non-main-job time at the moment).
For me it’s a great party game. I regularly meet with some friends since 2013 to play local multiplayer games. For the most time we played Nintendo games, but since I got a Steam Deck we wanted to try some non Nintendo games, so I am building a steam local multiplayer library. And stick fight is usually our starter game since the rounds are so short.
TLJ is in my top 3 stories in all of gaming but the puzzles/gameplay are pretty terrible. I’d still highly recommend grabbing it for a few bucks on GOG and playing it with a walkthrough - the story is absolutely worth it.
I liked dreamfall as well but the story wasn’t as impactful to me. I actually backed chapters on kickstarter but never finished it. How are you enjoying it so far?
I haven’t played it yet. I prioritize Game Pass, since those games come and go, but on Steam the library is semi-permanent. Sometimes I really feel like playing a particular game from my library, so I prioritize that over the ones I like on Game Pass.
I tried to get into it but I hated the loot boxes and progression. It felt unnecessary and complicated compared to the first. Plus it runs like crap on my PC compared to the first.
I really tried to not buy anything this time around but the last couple of games I picked up are all pretty difficult for my middle aged brain so I went compulsive shopping again
