Lets just hope they don’t mean the “I liked it before it got woke” jerkwads.
The show had already established how Tendi has green blood earlier in the series after an injury and it would have been an easy to infer detail compared to humans in the show....

Everyone who has Netflix — or wants to sign up — be sure to watch all 20 episodes of STAR TREK: PRODIGY when it drops on Christmas Day! The more who watch all of them in the first few weeks, the better....

I’ve been watching the various Star Trek shows for a while now, and while not finished I saw most of them, I believe. Susan Oliver was playing a green-skinned Orion slave girl, but I had to test her makeup because she was too expensive and I was under contract already; I was cheap, they had to pay me anyway. The makeup they put on me was green as green can be, but they kept on sending out the rushes and we would get it back for the next day,...

One of my responses (see here) was to point out that any fans of the progressiveness of Trek ought to have been mindful of the room for improvement over TOS, with female representation being an obvious...
It’s so bizarre to read this in the present, knowing how incredible TNG was, but I get it - the original crew WAS Star Trek to them....
