I think that’s why he switched. If he runs again, he loses the D next to his name on the ballot, thereby convincing his constituents he’s not a Democrat in the vilified label that the Conservatives throw around, especially in a state as red as West Virginia.
It may actually get him to be re elected, allowing him to caucus with the Democrats without being seen as one.
Y’all are not cynical enough. It may be possible they simply didn’t have someone go “Don’t forget about this” but this little snafu will be twisted by them saying “See? These liberals aren’t even allowing Trump on the ballot!”
Even though it isn’t true, it’s just another thing they will try to use to rile up their voters.
I remember initially getting downvoted on Reddit when the announcement trailer was posted because I mentioned that this was going to be the case and that I was going to wait a couple years.
Paradox has focused hard on releasing games with DLC planned every 6-12 months as has been the case for almost all of their recent titles. And I play a lot of their games. Cities 2 should have released with at least some of the dlc content already released in 1, on top of being optimized for performance. Paradox should be the poster child for patient gamers.
The ‘let Blizzard be Blizzard’ quote comes from the opinion and point of view of the Executive Producer and Vice President of World of Warcraft and their meetings with the folks from Bethesda and Mojang and comparing notes. It doesn’t appear to be an official stance of Microsoft to not shake things up, but rather World of Warcraft itself is doing just fine that no one seems to want to intervene in its development.
“There’s no one asking us to do anything,” she continued. “World of Warcraft is doing very well and they’re very proud of what it’s been able to accomplish, so it’s almost like just let it be, and let it keep being awesome. They’ve been tremendously supportive and it’s like ‘let Blizzard be Blizzard’.”
In September of 2023, I was prepared to vote blue in my State of Virginia, where we had a Red governor, a Blue Senate, and a Red House with the legislature seats all up for grabs. Now the legislative branch is Blue and the Governor is kept firmly in check and unlikely to run for President any longer.
And I never acknowledged Biden supported genocide; merely pointing out your fallacy in supporting actual genocide. In fact, the actions of the Biden administration to Palestinians in the US is contrary to your claims of the administration supporting genocide: cbsnews.com/…/biden-protects-palestinian-immigran…
