Got a text the other day to demand my support for Biden by completing a poll via some suspicious shortened link. Might’ve been legit, more likely a phishing attempt. The wording of it just made me think of the “Trade offer” meme.
Didn’t respond. If this is how pollsters operate they’re gonna be out of business within a decade (should be already) or just continue to get skewed results from braindead fools who click on suspicious links and also vote for blatantly unfit, deranged and dangerous candidates.
Only asshole goose I ever knew was a white goose with an orange beak. All the Canada geese in my parts are completely unaggressive whimps. It’s the turkeys you gotta watch out for.
I just let the steak’s own fat do the work, no additional fats necessary. Just be sure to allow the meat for rest for at least 5-10 minutes after cooking before you cut into it.
Answering based on a comment op made in the thread:
I think there are wireless hdmi adaptors that would enable you to move a normal monitor around but seems like l lot of jank—monitor would still need power, you’d need a wireless mouse and keyboard, a table, etc. I’d say a simpler solution would be to get a normal display for your computer and then a cheap laptop to run steam link on to stream games from your main computer to the laptop in whatever room you’re in. Performance would depend on your home wifi network.
I know ( or rather assume because I’ve never actually used steam link in any meaningful way) this limits you to your steam library, but like, we all know most games are just in our steam libraries.
I’ve been replaying and somewhat enjoying Fallout 4 recently too and all I can say is Bethesda made a very good (and janky) video game back in 2003 and managed to reskin it into 5 different games over the past 20 years fairly well—only blatantly showed its age with Starfield because they removed all the (now out of date) modernizations introduced in Fallout 4. I will not buy The Elder Scrolls VI if that ever comes to market.
Just throwing it out there if you haven’t played it, The Outer Worlds hits all the fallout notes in a tighter package (also made by obsidian who made New Vegas)
As I child, I always cheated and crossed my eyes to make these work, and saw them as a child—concave and unintelligible. Now that I am a man I finally learned to discard childish ways and trigger these properly by staring off into the far distance and tuning out all the stress of the modern world.
Related, and in full reference to Dinosaur Comics for no reason whatsoever:
I am curious, does this monthly fee simply enable access to doctors that you then have to give additional money to? If so what is the out of pocket cost? Does it cover hospital stays? Does it cover medication? Or is all of that extra and out of pocket?
I’m only asking because I have insurance. And it is significantly more per month. And it basically covers nothing other than the invented prices of medical care hospitals charge.
A usual statement of benefits I get from my insurance is:
Hospital billed $20,303 for service but we (insurance) only accept a bill of $3798 for this service so we paid them $1000 for the service and you, (our beloved customer) only pay the difference so please pay the hospital $2798 for the blood test they mistakenly coded.
Does that happen with Amazon? Or are y’all paying $8/ month and 1) getting charged full cost at hospitals / clinics Or 2) just paying $8/month?
(In case it wasn’t obvious I’m in the US and no, I am not exaggeration on my example or being sarcastic, I am genuinely curious)
