If you’re looking for similar games to move onto, Baldur’s Gate 3 is in its own tier, right at the top of the genre. Not only that but it’s a step forward mechanically and presentation wise for the whole genre as well. In this game I once threw an angry hyena at an enemy. Later just threw enemies at their friends.
Pathfinder Kingmaker and Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous are both excellent as well. Especially Wrath, though still with the aged style graphically speaking. You can cast touch spells through weapons! In the second one I became a lich queen with an army of undead, it might be my favourite CRPG ever because of that. It’s awesome.
Divinity Original Sin and its sequel are also brilliant, made by bg3 Devs Larian on their own ruleset. I’m currently replaying the second one with my sister (yep, it’s co-op), we are both playing undead. We are healed by poison and damaged by healing. Very cool.
The ads on that page are so shit that I stopped trying to read three paragraphs in after I tried to close the popup, floating, and auto playing video and the x didn’t work.
It definitely detracted, there’s a boss fight against Deathstroke (takes over the militia after Arkham Knight is taken care of in the story) but instead of an amazing fight you get chased around in the batmobile, it’s a shit joke.
Don’t get me wrong, I don’t hate the Batmobile itself, just how much of a focus was on it. I didn’t even dislike the tank combat, other than repetition. The first scene and arriving at GCHQ are extremely cool, they just put way too much of the batmobile stuff in.
My other disappointment is that they insisted Arkham Knight was a new character, but I’d already figured out who it was before the game released, so the “reveal” of Todd in game was more like a reveal of their lie. Outside of that and too much batmobile that game is absolutely phenomenal.
Funnily enough Mad Max had much better vehicular combat. If you want a similar (melee) combat system to these two that’s also very well done, Middle Earth Shadow of Mordor (the first one, not Shadow of War) is fantastic for it. The second one kinda fumbles expanding on it in my opinion (it didn’t do so much expand on it as split it up into play styles, so you had less stuff available to you at any moment), but the first game’s combat is fantastic.
It’s an RPG on a computer? Specifically tabletop, like Dungeons and Dragons or Pathfinder, but on a computer. Example games : Baldur’s Gate, Neverwinter Nights, The Temple of Elemental Evil, etc.
I love the controls in Knight, when I was playing I knew all the quick shortcuts for the gadgets, was properly countering three at a time including holding direction towards each enemy when counting and everything it was bliss. Are you sure you just weren’t a little unfamiliar with them? Because I remember then being meticulous.
God I can’t believe they shoved the batmobile in there and put such a focus on it, it really detracted from the rest of the game.
HA! Even if a Fortnite movie was a good idea for any reason other than even more fucking profit, which it isn’t, Zack fucking Snyder is so far from being the right person to do it that it seems like a joke.
This isn’t full circle unless call of duty had jump packs and lasers in its first iteration, which I haven’t played but considering the setting, probably not. At most this is a circle with an almost twenty year line coming off it that’s completely devoid of jetpacks.

Then they should go back in time and release the current version instead of the original. Phantom liberty is an expansion, 2.0 is a patch, neither is a game.
My first playthrough was 130 hours and my character had sex once, and I only did that because the situation was so outrageous I wanted to see what happened.
Don’t get me wrong I’m sure it’ll find a small market, it just could’ve had a bigger one with comparatively little effort and now the device it could’ve been will never exist. I had hopes for this as I’d expected it to stream from Now, but it just doesn’t for no reason beyond “CBA” really.
There’s multiple devices that allow you to play your PS5 like a Switch, and they all do more.
I’m not angry, you can have opinions about things you’re not angry about. I’m disappointed that Sony charged as much as possible for the bare minimum again, just a lack of ambition and abundance of cost.
