NocturnalMorning,

Believe it or not, killing the guy might actually have the opposite effect Putin wants. People are getting tired of his shit.

NocturnalMorning,

I’m going to block you just for posting this. You’ve wasted everybody’s time who had to scroll past this, and we are all now dumber. May god have mercy on your soul.

NocturnalMorning,

No thanks, pass. Games as a service with loot boxes and battle passes aren’t my thing.

NocturnalMorning,

That’s rude, we prefer height challenged.

NocturnalMorning,

Just the other day I accidently sleep coded an entire pop-up ad system and put it our automated delivery system tool so all customers know to buy stuff they don’t need or want.

NocturnalMorning,

We need vitamin D3, and there aren’t that many sources you can get it from.

NocturnalMorning,

Sure you can, but there’s also winter months where you can’t really go outside.

NocturnalMorning,

You can get all the vitamin D you need from just 10-30 minutes midday a few times a week.

Sure, I’m not arguing against that. Just pointing out there aren’t that many sources. And there are a lot of reasons people can’t go outside whenever they want to, biggest one for me is it gets really cold during the winter. No way I’m going outside to hang out when it’s 10 degrees outside.

NocturnalMorning,

They’re gonna get slapped with a law suit o er this.

Would you prefer if games had a separate difficulty setting for boss fights?

I usually play games on “normal” difficulty these days, for a balanced challenge. However, I don’t particularly enjoy boss fights, or at least I don’t enjoy the extra challenge associated with them. Was thinking it would be nice if games had a separate setting so I could just set boss fights to “easy”, while not...

NocturnalMorning,

That’s called cheating, and there’s usually a way to do it in most games.

NocturnalMorning,

Anything that circumvents the design of the game to gain an advantage is technically cheating. I wasn’t necessarily saying it shouldn’t be there. Just pointing out, there is usually a wat to do it in most games. The devs have to have a way to test things and move the stories forward without playing hundreds of hours of game.

NocturnalMorning,

Is this bcz they found out nobody wants to play a black flag game without the black flag part? Trailer got a really poor reception so they tried to address the criticism?

NocturnalMorning,

Apples and oranges. Making a pc game in 1993 was completely different than making a modern game.

NocturnalMorning,

Classic wow is just grinding. I didn’t play it until they re-released it, and it took me a week to get to level 12. That’s kind of unreasonable.

NocturnalMorning,

That’s easy now, but definitely not a thing when classic wow was around.

Edit: I looked it up, average time to 60 is 30 days in classic wow. Making your 4 hour remark not right.

NocturnalMorning,

Yeah, in the modern game. Vanilla wow, that is not the case. Why do I keep having to repeat myself.

NocturnalMorning,

That my privacy settings are set correctly, so they didn’t have any information on me besides the number of games I own.

Just beat Lies of P and I love it!

My first soulsborne game was Bloodborne and is still my favorite of the FromSoft series with Elden Ring just behind it. Playing Lies of P has seriously reminded me of when I first played Bloodborne and so it probably gets special bonus points just for that. Now I just have to wait until Friday for Lords of the Fallen!

NocturnalMorning,

I don’t understand the obsession with super difficult games. I can get plenty good at them. But I don’t enjoy getting angry at videogames when I die 14 times fighting a boss.

I’d love to play Lies of P, but no difficulty level means I’m not playing it. I tried Elden Ring as well, and Bloodborne. These kind of games just aren’t for me.

NocturnalMorning,

I wish I was like that. It might be an adhd thing. I’d love to play some of these games. It’s just not worth my sanity.

NocturnalMorning,

Good thing I’m developing all of my games in Unreal right now.

NocturnalMorning,

Yeah, now I’m concerned this might happen with Unreal Engine, even though they’ve given no indication that it will. Once Godot works out the kinks with level and texture streaming, and has a landscape editor I will be going back to Godot.

NocturnalMorning,

It should help since they’ll be able to hire more people to work on the project. Something badly needed dwith Godot is a proper testing workflow. They currently rely on the community to report bugs, and that’s just not an efficient workforce. Also doesn’t cover all the possible edge cases.

NocturnalMorning,

Nice, it’s been 6-7 months since I used Godot. Glad they got a terrain editor ported over.

NocturnalMorning,

I think we need both. You can never have too much test coverage.

NocturnalMorning,

So they’re sorry people didn’t like the idea? Is that the message?

NocturnalMorning,

They released on two different platforms. PCs have so much variation in hardware, it’s not surprising there are issues with it.

NocturnalMorning,

Alternative title: This one chest that starfield developers don’t want you to know

NocturnalMorning,

So as it turns out, the frustration for not investigating the capital insurrection, and all the funny business leading up to it (and everything between) was in fact real. How anyone can justify not starting an investigation immediately when the capital is violently stormed is beyond me.

Sure, going after the peons is all fine and good, but it was clear as day for a long time nobody was doing jack about Trump and Co. Corruption, and now we have it straight from the horses mouth. Lovely times in this clumtry.
