Wait this wasn’t already a thing? Was it Microsoft just delaying the PS5 version or Sony with their weird anti cross platform behaviour holding it back.

I thought the point of Bedrock edition was to have it accessible on basically anything that can run the game

I see, still though PS5 has been out for years suprised it took this long. Does the Series X have a native version or is that still running the Xbox One version?

To be honest, as a huge Halo fan, I was surprised when seeing those studios closed that 343 wasn’t one of them. The studio is just cursed, even a leadership change isn’t going to save them.

Either make Halo games from all the studios under Microsoft or start a new one with people who are actual fans of the franchise

Full backward compatibility is definitely great to see, if it didn’t have it I probably wouldn’t pick it up for a few years

I would say Outer Wilds is very good. You have the ability to beat the game as soon as you start, but you don’t have the knowledge to beat it.

Without spoiling it as it’s a very spoiler sensitive game, you can spend as long as you want gathering all of the knowledge to beat the game, you aren’t punished for taking your time. And all the knowledge you collect is stored in the games computer as long as you save so you can play for 22 minutes if you want, or multiple hours.

I beat the game over the course of a few weeks playing for various amounts of time. Recently played the DLC too and that went the same.

Really hope the next 3D Mario is a launch title, very much looking forward to what comes after Odyssey. Bowsers Fury was good, but didn’t have the replayability of the other 3D titles

I’m confused as to why every article about this is calling it Subnautica 2, like I know Below Zero wasn’t as good as the original but this will be the 3rd game in the series.

Anyway, glad co-op will be a thing, tried the multiplayer mod just before the 2.0 release and whilst buggy it was really fun, looking forward to them releasing the new version which looking at their GitHub, seems to be getting closer

I’ve downloaded it on PC just because it’s on game pass but when I saw some of the issues and how they were fixed on Steam but not the Xbox app, I’ve not played. Waiting to see if my friends will get the game and if so I’ll just buy on Steam as it’s a much better experience

Hopefully it unlocks some of the forced keybinds too, I’ll never understand why games have custom keybinds but lock certain actions, making that key unusable. I have a key remapper to solve it the issues I have but it’s annoying to always have to boot it up alongside certain games

In fairness I haven’t played any of these spin off games as they didn’t interest me, but it seems like they keep trying to make other games using the Minecraft name but they just aren’t working as Minecraft is only really popular for the actual main game, if I wanted to play a strategy game I’d play an actual one not a Minecraft one

In fairness, their first trailers for the past 2 GTA games haven’t been gameplay, so I assume they’re just keeping with that pattern. And also those trailers did look similar to the final game, not exact but I don’t think it’s much of a stretch to expect GTA VI to look this good on max settings.

Framerate on the other hand, maybe to look this good it’ll have to be 30 which won’t be nice

Sucks it was leaked just hours before the planned release but at least they handled it well.

Really hope this game will be good, not going in with high expectations as too many games have released in poor states recently but given how long this has been in development more, maybe it won’t be a rushed mess and they’ve still got all of 2024 + some amount of 2025 to continue work.

Forge AI, all helmets available on every core, extraction mode from H4 and firefight coming during the season. Almost to the point the game should’ve been at launch

Highly doubt anything will change this year but hopefully next year. Even if it’s just a priority on which will be added first instead of only 1 getting added
