What Are the Best Ideas for Using LineageOS with Root and microG? (github.com)

I have OnePlus 7 Pro that I successfully flashed with LineageOS 21 with MicroG. Do you have some interesting apps or ideas to take advantage of it? I thought of some Magisk modules. Maybe someone is more experience than me! This is the spare smartphone, the main one is GrapheneOS, so I don’t mind breaking stuff.

I’m pretty sure Shelter is better than Island, but I forgot the reason xD

Obtainium to grab apps and updates straight from the repositories.

GPS Logger is neat if you want to keep track of your movements now that Google won’t track you anymore.

The marketing oversold the idea that if you wanted to do something it would amaze you to find it was expected by the designers.

Most of the, I thought at the time, very obvious thing I wanted to explore thematically were not there. Also, Romance felt clunky and unnuanced.

I’m on LineageOS since 2016, something may have changed but I usually look up their supported hardware and pick a phone based on that. You may have to look at something relatively recent or you could end up meeting the end of their official support, which then goes into some les reliable unofficial support by random people you can find mostly on XDA.

Personally I’m looking next to a second hand Pixel, mostly out of curiosity.

Edit: forgot to address the “why”: to keep in touch with society without letting strangers access to my stuff.

It is not the game is very easy. Yoshi is also one of the best characters (there’s a total of 3 characters, light, medium and heavy).

It's not indie by any means but I agree, if he's never played I guess old often feels like a modern indie title.
