How I bought Steam Deck OLED ~25% cheaper from Steam (gearsrealm.com)

Just sharing my method on how I bought my Steam Deck OLED for 3/4 of the original price. I was skeptical when I read about it, but decided to try it and it took me a few good hours trying not to screw it up, but it worked out in the end. Maybe someone can benefit from it, but it has some risks.

Is the “Intel chip” a good or bad news? I7 seems good. Although the screen seems to be a “bit small” for a 2024 console, and no trackpad? Mmm.

The news comes years after the eldritch horror maker’s dispute with publisher Nacon began. In 2020, the studio pulled The Sinking City from all stores, accusing Nacon of missing payments, holding back €1 million in royalties, and claiming IP rights to the game – something the studio insisted had always belonged to it....

In a time where the “Remake syndrome” is spreading to the game market, anything new deserves a chance. I’ll wait for a pc version. It would be nice to play it on my Deck (≧ω≦)/

As pc gamer (and new Deck owner) i’ve started to check any good game deal, mostly x games on Steam but not only. I’ve soon realize that there are great site like Humble to use to buy keys for cheap, but also “shady” sites with very low price who apparently sell non working keys or try to scam you. Did we have a list of...

Kinguin for example is one of those site i would like to hear more opinion and experience about. I’ve read different opinins on the old Redead social before. It seems a 3 to 1 situation there. I even buyed a small indi there using PayPal and so far I had no issues. Any experience about this site???

They are far too convenient. Considering the price for a “medium long termn” game pc, the cost of energy, the lack of portability ecc. Is clearly more convenient to have a console and a medium spec Desk/pc portable for work. Ofk you sacrifice graphic quality but to be honest i already played most of my games in 1080p on my old desktop. With the console and a “dock” solution you end up playing the same kind of game on your monitor and you also have the full portability. OFK with an AAA game your battery run out quickly but any casual Indi game runs for hour and 99% of them are perfect to play on small screen.
