hotchurkey,

This is pretty much in line with my experience. As someone who didn’t play Overwatch 1, the monetization through the battle pass really doesn’t feel all that bad, but I totally understand how people who played Overwatch 1 from the start would be unhappy with it.

I know it might not be a popular opinion here, but I play a lot of Overwatch and actually find it really enjoyable. It doesn’t feel like a dead game at all. Plenty of people playing, and really easy to find matches. Plus if you’re willing to use Bing for Microsoft Rewards (which if you’re not is totally fair) you can use that to get the coins for the battle pass rather than paying.

hotchurkey,

I’ll add Stardew Valley for indie titles as well. I have hundreds of hours between both switch and PC, and the Switch is a great platform for it.

hotchurkey,

+1 for Heaven’s Vault. Really excellent indie gem, and a fun spin on the detective game.

hotchurkey,

Shapez is great! I love the minimalistic approach to a factory game. I finished the main levels a while ago, but I still want to get around to ::: spoiler minor late game spoiler using all the circuits to build a factory to automatically make just about anything for the later levels :::

hotchurkey,

I’ve started playing Deep Rock Galactic, and I’ve been loving it, even just playing a few solo missions to get a feel for it. I’m going to try to get my wife into it, since we’ve been looking for some more games to play together.

Outside of that, I’ve been playing Tears of The Kingdom and that’s been fantastic. Great follow up to one of my favorite games. And then mixing in some Overwatch as well which, despite its problems, is still pretty fun to play with some friends.
