Throwing orange corn starch on the Black Stone in Mecca would be amazing press.

lepinkainen, to world in Stonehenge sprayed with paint by environmental protesters

It was coloured corn starch, and the stones have lichen growing on them that has helped them survive this long.

Nobody knows what the colouring agent was.

lepinkainen, to fuck_cars in The NYTimes is once again trashing the most promising mobility innovation of the 21st century

I’ve competed at a country level in martial arts. I’m not unfit.

It’s a genetic thing, I sweat like crazy and it takes a long time for me to cool down after I get a good sweat going. Even if I shower, I still keep sweating for a good 30 minutes.

Shower before I leave where? I arrive at the office covered in sweat. My clothes completely soaked.

Then I need to shower, change and still haven’t clocked in.

I don’t want the first thing I do at the office be a shower.

E-bikes let me control the amount of sweat, while still giving me a cardio workout.

lepinkainen, to games in Cyberpunk 2077 director thanks fans as the game hits a 95% positive review rating on Steam

I think you’re one of the people who wanted a cyberpunk GTA game and didn’t get it.

The story is fucking amazing, some of the side quests will stay with you for a long time.

The combat and driving are fine, I endure both to get forward in the story.

lepinkainen, to games in Helldivers 2 community manager says internal discussions are ongoing regarding mandatory PSN account link

Enabling TCS on planets and having to disable them on a destroyed version of the map a month later because the TCS was actually mutating the bugs to become more powerful?

lepinkainen, to games in Helldivers 2 community manager says internal discussions are ongoing regarding mandatory PSN account link

Yes, you still shoot bugs and robots.

But the planets that are available- and by extension the missions - change all the time. You can’t just mainline the game for 150 hours in a week and experience all of it.

Most of the people complaining about the lack of variance in gameplay are the ones playing 12 hours a day constantly.

You can’t “binge” a live service game where the plot changes in real time.
