That’s a bummer. I really liked the vision she initially set out with when she entered the role, but the actual content of the site never seemed to move beyond “game journalism, but a bit more snarky.” I wonder if some higher-ups never really let her vision move forward.
2023 is shaping up to be one of the best years for gaming in ages. From Tears of the Kingdom to Diablo IV to Street Fighter 6, it's already been a pretty great year, with quite a few big-budget releases coming later this year...
Which is not something I'm going to do personally, but the information may benefit someone. I'm still torn between getting it on Steam or just Game Pass....
I’m getting it on Steam just for the modding capabilities! I like that Bethesda has been good about getting mods onto the Game Pass version of F4 and Skyrim, but those aren’t as extensive as the Steam versions.
I'm currently playing Diablo IV (and having a blast with it) but finding one small gripe which I only think is going to get worse and probably stop me playing it completely in the long run....
I don’t love it, but I’ve found that it’s been less intrusive than I thought. Generally only feel it when the internet goes out. That said, I’ve got fairly good fiber internet, so I’m a bit privileged in this regard. We used to have absolutely horrendous rural internet and it sucked.
