Did I miss pog and pwn? Or are they so new I haven’t heard them yet? My coworkers are all in the same age range as me, but they are cooler also. Anyway I’m old and a couple of them have “no cap” on jackets so I can’t imagine that’s a fresh one.

Newbie here, do I not see lemmygrad stuff on my “all” feed because I am on the shitjustworks instance?

I can pull it up in the search bar, but don’t seem able to subscribe.

I probably need to watch a newbs guide to the fediverse video or something. Like I understand the basic idea, but not the nuances or technical stuff.

I fully agree with what he says, but it doesn’t seem to be an answer to her question.

Yes, our right to privacy is important, and he very clearly, and, not sure how say it, makes it relatable and easy to understand.

But, her question seems to have more to do with privacy at the cost of public safety.

Never heard of Dawrf Fortress until I had sheddit and came to lemmy, where it’s sub(? Instance? Thread?) Came up on my feed before I made an account. Like a lot. Linux, programmer humor, memes, and dwarf fortress where all I saw.

I’ll need to be in the right mood to start that game, but the hype is kinda insane for a roguelike. I have high expectations.
