Bosht,

The ego shit script that accompanies this I’d vote makes this better or on par with ‘2 hackers 1 keyboard’ ‘I thought you said this’d be hard’ is just cringfest.

In the mystery series My Life Is Murder, Madison puts a thumb drive into someone's laptop and presto she is typing, downloads and is finished in 60 seconds. No guessing a password or searching for files. Just shoves it in and takes it out. This happens in most episodes of the current season.

corsicanguppy,

The NCIS two-hackers-one-keyboard video is the metric by which all other suck is measured.

Muscle_Meteor,

“Fire the cybernukes!”

PiJiNWiNg,

I cant find the clip online, but i seem to remember a scene in ‘Lucy’ where she, while on an airplane, pulls out two laptops and uses them both, one with each hand, to do some tech magic.

xyz1195,

Password Swordfish.

refalo,

burgersc12,
fsxylo,

Lifting the scanner to type always gets me.

Not the worst, but funny:
Haker (2002): emacs through sendmail [english subtitles].

Every community with that name needs to include a bit about FSN in its sidebar.

Rolando,

There’s always the classic “What people think programming is, vs how it actually is.”

MonkderDritte,

I mean, it kinda is, when you’re not on clock (e.g. fun) and use vim/emacs on a multiplexer.

Varyk,

Oh, anything in hackers from '95

In hackers, hacking means to literally jump into a 3D world where you like battle and dodge the programs and connections between web pages which are corporeal.

Hackers!

thefartographer,

HACK THE WORLD!!!

breakingcups,

Planet*

thefartographer,

Shit, fuck me. Thanks for that correction!

Rubisco,

Hollywood hacker bullshit. Not once have I ever come across an animated singing virus.

Varyk,

Are you sure you’re hacking hard enough?

thefartographer,

Ytmnd is the closest I ever got

Captain Jean-Luc Picard of the USS Enterprise

That these were a thing is… wild.

Edit: maybe more fitting

criitz,

But it’s still awesome

Varyk,

Yeah it’s pretty satisfying stuff.

Mess with the best, die like the rest.

MonkderDritte,

That 3D space they so often recycle must have cost a bit to generate back then.

Nomad,

It was supposed to represent cyberspace like in the Gibson books. It’s a thing is the times back then.

Joey hacks the gibson using some kind of intense graphical interface on Mac OS (7 maybe?) on his Apple IIGS.

Huh?!

cabron_offsets,

All of them

tacosanonymous,

Kung Fury. Though it was satirical.

Looking at you Swordfish.

boaratio,

Who amongst us hasn’t been challenged to finish a hack while getting a blowjob?

Veritrax,

Hacking back in time in Kung Fury is easily the best, most accurate depiction of hacking in any media ever.

DarkThoughts,

That's clearly parodying it though.

thefartographer,

You’ve obviously never hacked while wearing a powerglove

radicalautonomy,

Wait a minute…using an RX modulator, I might be able to conduct the mainframe cell layer and hack the uplink to the download. It means with the right computer algorithm, I can hack you back in time, just like a time machine.

Anticorp,

Oh shit! I hacked too much time!

Passerby6497,

How have I not seen this movie? That looks amazing
