Commiunism,

I like the “Free The Artist” side quest.

That is all.

Commiunism,

As a non-american, is this really a big deal? It doesn’t disqualify him from going for presidency and it’s possible that he doesn’t serve any time at all due to his old age and no criminal record, as the article suggests.

Commiunism,

Obviously this study was done by people who are part of the far-left liberal establishment and are lying /s

But seriously, I doubt that people who buy into anti-woke rhetoric are going to care, they’re stuck in this “us vs them” bubble that’s incredibly difficult to escape from.

Commiunism,

Nah, they’re just openly flexing about them on social media

Commiunism,

You can use the mediabiasfactcheck website, it’s pretty alright.

mediabiasfactcheck.com/the-new-arab/ here’s a link to their page about newarab

Commiunism,

Suspect this might be clickbait, they didn’t ban the original wiki. I’ve asked a friend of mine from Russia to verify this and they were able to access the ‘old’ wiki, both English and Russian version just fine.

Commiunism,

Damn, I had a malicious version installed on my Arch machine. I’ve since done a system update which removes the backdoor, but looking more into it, it does seem that only fedora and debian(?) are affected/targeted but better safe than sorry.

Commiunism,

Yakuza, older games especially. You have amazing looking fully motion captured cutscenes which sometimes makes you forget that it’s a video game due to how realistic it looks, but then you’re out of the cutscene and the difference hits like a truck.

Commiunism,

The secret to not getting banned for toxicity online is to hate yourself more than your opponents or team

Commiunism,

Pathologic 2 - it’s a really stressful game, but I think it’d be perfect for the criteria. The choices matter aspect are intertwined in both how you spend your time (it’s limited and you can’t be everywhere at once), and in quests (the more traditional choices, like pick A or B or C). Don’t want to spoil any more but it’s amazing, you don’t need to play the original.

Besides it, I’ve also heard good things from Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, though I haven’t played it personally.

Commiunism,

Went back to playing Civ 5 and Civ 6 recently with friends, and even though Civ 5 is much older, we seem to enjoy it way more due to it being more simple. Civilization traits are way more easy to understand, AI feels better and more threatening and games are faster.

What's your favorite game that you will NEVER finish?

This question popped into my head when I was playing Void Stranger. I just got done with the game and will probably never play it again despite not finishing it. The game is genuinely amazing but it just gets so demanding as you progress through it. I ended up watching the second half of the game on YouTube....

Commiunism,

Old School Runescape. Kind of a cop-out answer as it’s a MMO, but I’m never gonna get maxed there

Commiunism,

It’s just not true anymore, especially with Steam. If a game releases in a sucky, broken state where more development time was definitely needed, nowadays the game companies will often just fix those games over time.

Commiunism,

Yeah, 100%. If a game gets released in a mediocre unfinished state, and it doesn’t capture the attention of the player base back then it can certainly kill the game, I agree completely.

However, my original comment was mostly referring to the fact that games can be updated nowadays, unlike in the older days when you bought a game (when buying games was mostly done via retail stores and physical copies) and if the game was bad, it would be bad forever. There’s also the fact that there were a couple of high-profile cases where the game came out clearly unfinished or even unplayable (such as Fallout 76 and Cyberpunk 2077) that have fixed themselves, and if you were to mention that the game was bad at launch and how it was a bad business practice, you’d immediately get told to shut up and to look at what state the game is now.

Commiunism,

Probably Pathologic 2, assuming I’d retain my fondness towards it.

On my way to completing my first playthrough, I had to spend at least 2 months warming up to the game and actually going through the first hour, after which it was absolutely amazing. I’m still replaying it once a year due to how much I love it.

‘Call of Duty’ Doesn’t Just Depict Bad History—It’s Pro-War Propaganda (progressive.org)

I just started playing COD Black Ops Cold War because I got it through my PlayStation Plus subscription and wanted to try it out. I’ve previously played some others like Modern Warfare (1 and 2) and WWII. While it always felt a bit over the top and propaganda-ish, I really liked it for the blockbuster feeling and just turning...

Commiunism,

I think they were/are getting funding from some US military defense sector, the same one that was funding a lot of pro-american propaganda films. So even without taking the actual campaign/story of COD games into consideration, it’s definitely in their interest to make a propaganda game.

Payday 3 developer drops Denuvo from the game before it's even out (www.pcgamer.com)

It's common practice for PC games today to launch with Denuvo, a form of DRM designed to stop the spread of pirated copies of games, and it's also common practice for developers to remove Denuvo several months after launch as interest (and the risk of piracy) dwindles. Less common is a developer publicly announcing it's removing...

Commiunism,

Yeah it’s one of those fake games they put in the movies so the movie company doesn’t have to pay licensing fees
