A bit of a weird title, but basically what’s a game that’s more than a year old but still considered “modern” that you love? There’s no real strict definition for modern, I’d just like to see some discussion around great games that aren’t quite classics yet (but probably will be one day)....
Dude they made another trine??? Damn I’ve gotta get that into my library. Some of the most fun co-op I’ve ever done was trine, trine 2 and trine 3. Hopefully 5 took a lot of “don’t do that”'s from trine 4.
Me too, thinking I’ll finally have some enlightenment as to how to kill the first night or twos zombies without getting killed and rage quitting.
I’ve even watched “beginner tutorials” on that game game, and conveniently they ended the first video just after nightfall of the first night, and started the second video during the second day, but that’s not how it friggin works, you need to murder the enemies lest they murder you, and in 5 different starts of the game, across 3 different devices, I’ve yet to kill the first or second nights horde without them breaking down my doors and wrecking my shit.
That game is one of my biggest regrets, I bought the 4 pack when it first came out thinking my friends and I would all have a great time, it makes me feel like I’m old and disconnected that I can’t enjoy that stupid (supposedly fantastic) game.
Definitely a legit take, there are very few people I wouldn’t recommend Hades to, if only for enough playthroughs to get to the “end” of the story. Though there is so much past that
I currently have a low end Windows gaming laptop that I was planning to upgrade to Linux before Win10 goes end of life, but my HDMI port stopped working, so now I’m debating buying a new Linux laptop instead. Can anyone provide any recommendations?...
Not sure it’s cope as much as being unable to accept that their attempted put down is having no effect. Bully is in their own head about their inability to get under someone’s skin.
Do you have a steam account already? Do you have a gaming pc of any variety?
I love my deck, but I’m a nearly 20 year steam user. If you have a backlog and no steam account, why would you give yourself more of a backlog? (Although the emulation ability of the deck is fantastic, but again, why did a bigger back log hole?)
Sounds like a deck is perfect for you, I’d recommend the refurbished 512 led (got one for mom, she’s loving it, and hasn’t had a single problem), or the smallest LCD and a large memory card.
Emulation is a breeze, and it’s a pretty powerful gaming PC in it’s own right. I rarely push it, but I’ve run Witcher 3, which was as good as my 5 year old "gaming"laptop, and baldurs gate 3 runs decently. I’ve seen my buddy run ‘no man’s sky’ at what looked like buttery 60fps, though he didn’t have the overlay turned on. I’d recommend a cheap Bluetooth mouse and keyboard, and a kickstand unless you’re going to play it hooked up to the TV, then you’ll need a pass through power cable and usbc-> TV input adapter (HDMI), or the dock that they sell, but I haven’t had reason to try one.
I would argue elden ring (haven’t played, not my style but heard many good things about it) and bg3 are not AAA studios, they don’t release high budget games frequently, they focus on one genre, and don’t have much (especially large budget titles) outside of that area of focus.
That list is also staggeringly small compared to The list it’s derived from, and I would say whatever list includes those games has a much larger “awful titles” section to go along with it. If anything I would say the games you listed (that are from multi title developers) are the exceptions that proves the “don’t buy AAA titles” rule.
Not trolling, genuinely couldn’t stand that movie, I feel it’s impossible to bring people around to the idea that it was a shit movie, and I don’t need people to feel the same way about it as me to validate my feelings, but I do support the message that it was trying to send (people will remain willfully ignorant) but it didn’t send that message in a way that made sense (from a pretty typical progressive). I barely made it through the first viewing, and I’m not giving it another chance.
But sure, I’m a troll, and a bad one at that.
For other things I troll about be sure to check out my review of “rampage”, oh wait, that was heartfelt and the person who took my recommendation ended up loving it (inexplicably, I cannot explain why it’s so damn… Rampage), and maybe reconsider that while my taste is different, it’s conveyed with honestly and sincerity. Don’t look up wasn’t funny, it wasn’t productive, and it wasn’t realistic portrayals of people in the slightest, and that combination entirely turned me off from the movie
But you can dismiss me as a bad troll and trot along with the rest of the sheep.
Watched it 3 separate times last night whole navigating stressful sleep (due to old pet health issues),
I’d heard a bit about Tetris being broken to hell sometime last year, when they got to hyper tapping I thought that was the major revolution, I guess it has been revolutionized a couple times!
I wonder how that 6x champion guy felt watching the progression, it must’ve felt like taking your covered wagon to watch the rocket launch.
Tuesday was just a little too good wasn’t it? Let’s cherish seeing this 30 year old<1mb game get destroyed, it’s probably better he didn’t watch his score record be so thoroughly destroyed.

The best controller I arguably thing is the 360 controller. It just feels right to use in fighting games and fps. I like xboxs layout with the analog sticks....
I’ve had 2 “Xbox elite” controllers, both of them have had problems with sticky buttons. Annoying beyond belief. The regular Xbox s controller works better than either of the elites did.
That said my steam deck is my favorite controller when I need a controller.
Elites are pushing a ban on progressive ideas and giving people a choice/options Rather than supporting the entrenched industries the elites own, I can see more truth in the headline spun that way.
Go away piped bot, you’re not the only one interested in this.
I hope I find the time and mental capacity to get back into these space 4(e)x(pics). I remember reading about sins in egm (electronic gaming monthly) when I was finishing high school, I’m proud to have it in my steam account, but I haven’t touched it in ages, and have definitely never completed a game of it
I’m actually less worried about it now that he’s said he has a plan to do it. I haven’t read his plan, but I know the way he handles things (and the things his corporate overlords want) means the opposite will probably happen and it’ll somehow be worse.
And fuck my neighbors (cops who support Trump) when they come for my neighbors (I don’t ask questions, but they aren’t white and they’re a thousand times better people than the cop family).
The tears of people subsidizing my having never watched an ad (by having premium) fuels me for this week. Bring on the disagreement, but this is going to be a hard week, I’m going to listen to 2-3 hours of YouTube a day, and never have to pay attention to it to skip an ad. And my cats will listen to it ad free all day when I’m not at home.
Nothing I appreciate more than checking out the reviews and seeing “don’t let it go unnoticed that this is an Ubisoft title, and therefore uses their launcher and drm” saved me regretful purchases (before the 2 week/2 hour return window) many times.
I will never unsee Gomez throwing his whole hand into the snap. Lurch has a bit of wrist flick, but Gomez is going whole enchilada, I wonder if it’s his fingers snapping or his wrists.
