I was looking at the firefox flatpak on flathub. Won't this warning make a non tech-savy user anxious? This might make them think they'll get a virus or something like that. (programming.dev)

Imagine your friend that does not know anything about linux, don’t you think this would make them not install the firefox flatpak and potentially think that linux is unsafe?...

I agree, it feels very artificial and it breaks my perception of the game almost immediately.

In path of exile, you kind do the same thing. You want to fight stronger enemies because you are stronger and by doing it, you can get more and better rewards. But it’s ultimately your decision when you want to face harder content. Not some algorithm that is tied to your precieved gear level.

For me the first two-the weeks are the best anyway. Everyone starts fresh, the economy is fresh, activity is happening.

Diablo bores me, but with PoE it’s very exciting. And with every league you pay you become better at the game, so the next league you know more and you’ll make stronger characters and farm better items

I’ve been playing through all the numbered games and its been great. I could write an essay or two on any of them. In general I’m only including base games and no expansions or DLC so it wouldn’t be a huge undertaking to beat 11, but I’m trying to see if it’s worth it from others who have done the marathon....

It has a die hard fanbase indeed. And has gone through a few facelifts to make it soloable.

But as someone who played xi back in the Day, it has not aged well. Neither the graphics or the game systems.

It’s not bad if you are an active player. The msq drips are a welcome addition when you have “run out” of content and is very manageable.

That said, I tried to catch up from 80 to 90 and I could just not justify any more hours doing the msq just to be able to raid. It was just hours and hours and days and days of clicking people reading text and going to the next location clicking more boxes
