I started playing it on Game Pass but got stuck and then it got taken off of Game Pass. I like detective games though so I'll try to finish it at some point.
I was playing it in xbox. I think I may already have it on Steam from some sale or something but I just prefer to sit on the sofa as I work behind the screen all day already.
I just hope it keeps the morality system of the original games and the freedom you had (like you could just go and rob and murder people etc.) that really made the original Fable stand out over other RPGs at the time as few franchises gave you such freedom (The Elder Scrolls, Deus Ex etc.)
Hahaha, GTA San Andreas had that right? You could get super fat and then you had to go to the gym, you could even have a heart attack if you did nothing, that was pretty hilarious.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance has the stuff where if your clothes are dirty or ragged people will comment on it and treat you differently, and that's like an AA studio, so hopefully they can manage it.
Even Microsoft wasn't happy with Redfall - I don't think it was like they decided to release it in that state because of Game Pass, it seems the whole project was a greed-driven disaster that started prior to the Microsoft acquisition.
Which is not something I'm going to do personally, but the information may benefit someone. I'm still torn between getting it on Steam or just Game Pass....
Skyrim has all the DLC, but only the Special Edition not the Anniversary Edition. Fallout 4 does not have the DLC. So I expect it won't have the DLC.
I'd be tempted just to buy the game itself to have it separate from Game Pass but realistically as long as I have my Xbox I'll probably keep my Game Pass subscription and $60 is a lot less than $170 haha..
The GOTY edition does include all of the DLC though? I bought it on sale a few days ago as I never finished F4 and Far Harbour had really good reviews.
Yeah, but I think they could still put it in Game Pass if they wanted to. I think in general Game Pass doesn't include the DLC. I actually bought the DLC for Escape Academy as it was so fun so I guess it helps as a revenue stream for smaller games that without Game Pass probably wouldn't get much exposure.
Yeah, the sad fact is that no one has even come close to creating a Skyrim-like. The Witcher 3 had imitators like the recent Assassins Creed games etc. but there is still nothing quite like The Elder Scrolls.
Looking for some games where it feels like you're actually trying to solve something with the clues and secrets you uncover. For example, Disco Elysium actually made me feel like a detective despite how wacky and surreal it could be....
I'm currently playing Diablo IV (and having a blast with it) but finding one small gripe which I only think is going to get worse and probably stop me playing it completely in the long run....
If it's not a multiplayer game then it shouldn't need to be online.
Like I play Hitman a lot and occasionally the game pauses because it loses connection to the server even though it's single-player. It's usually able to reconnect but its still a bit annoying. And I am playing with 500mb internet and an ethernet connection, so the issue is on their side.
So yeah, I really don't see why it's necessary or why it's become such a trend.
