You. Cannot. Be. Forced. To. Unlock. A. Phone. With. A. Password.
(In the United States)
If you are caught with your phone in a bad situation, fight to manage to get it to shut down. Android will be stuck in a locked out state where biometrics are disabled. Im sure iphones can do something like that but rethink bringing your stupid iphone to a protest. Ask for a lawyer. Do not talk, do not answer questions, do not say anything else.
Its worth noting the null terminator is part of the string’s encoding rather than being part of the string itself, so the lack of a null terminator is more of an implementation detail. Kind of like describing a pointer as “not a fat pointer”.

CS2 uses a design paradigm called Entity Component System, which allows for aggressive multi core utilization by splitting up game logic into self contained “systems” that operate on a subset of “Components” per “Entity”. This allows for data dependencies to be statically analyzed and a scheduler to maximize CPU Utilization thanks to the better separated workflows.
It uses DOTS from Unity to accomplish this. There is a small bottleneck in communicating this work back to the game’s renderer, but it is doing a lot of valuable work with all those cores. The communication with the renderer and their rendering implementation sucks right now and thats where the performance tanks.
I am very aware of how at some level there are less multicore workloads involved but a CPU core can do a metric shitload of work, it’s the RAM and GPU transfers that kill performance. We dont need to blame Unity here, they are fucking this up 100% themselves.
Theres a video that explains all this but I cant find it and thats pretny annoying so whatever.
Your point is worthless. Not everyone needs context hand fed at all moments, and your misunderstanding of the title is anecdotal and unique to very few people.
Edit: changed wording because it wasnt one single person making the argument
It’s pretty annoying you replied to someone’s nice, well thought out comment with your own bullshit. Then speculated about something you could have googled in 7 seconds max.
Damn. That was my last hope for a company putting efficiency as a priority.
(OP Asked) I care about efficiency because I hate having to deal with the waste heat from my computer. It makes it more challenging to regulate indoor temp in summer where I live. Humidity is always high so keeping the house cool and dry for as cheap as possible is my highest priority.
