There is probably a simple explanation for this. The previous keyboard I was using is FlorisBoard, which has very poor gesture typing in my opinion. This gesture typing is leagues better than FlorisBoard’s. So to me it feels like a sudden breath of fresh air.
I wouldn’t be surprised if police are jumpier/more trigger happy in the U.S. due to the increased prevalance of guns there. But I also wouldn’t be surprised if it had no effect (anyone could have a gun, after all).
Not merely was my own mail opened, but the mail of all my relatives and friends—people residing in places as far apart as California and Florida. I recall the bland smile of a government official to whom I complained about this matter: ‘If you have nothing to hide you have nothing to fear.’
Let’s be clear: the right to privacy is not a fascist dogma.
