Agar agar is a bit of a laxative, so I may suggest you find another thickening agent. I think the store you are looking for is a baking supply store for most weird flavorings and powders. Restaurant supply may also have aisles as well, though the good ones are harder to come by. If only the modernist pantry had a storefront.

Israel didn’t do shit to make us kill Soleimani. Soleimani was literally meeting with someone who we blamed for an attack on the US embassy in Iraq. He was the other person killed in the strike. Iran knew they fucked up there, which is why their response was throwing a fairly ineffective barrage at a military base and then shooting down their own civilian airliner.

Any “nighttime” cold and flu medication just has an antihistamine stuffed into the normal Tylenol, Robitussin, Mucinex “daytime” combo. The daytime used to include a decongestant, but you can make meth with Sudafed pretty trivially, and the replacement stuff did fuck all, so they pulled it from the market, so now if you’re healthy just build your own: Pain meds (Ibuprofen/Acetaminophen), an expectorant (Guaifenesin, though too much can make your stomach upset which is why it’s in everything that can be abused these days), a cough suppressant (dextromethorphan, expect to have to show an ID), and a decongestant (Pseudoephedrine, it’ll be at the pharmacy and you’ll need to show ID, but you don’t need a prescription).

Every young group ever has had this idealized view that they’re the first group of people who invented the protest vote. Then they see the consequences of their lack of engagement and realize throwing their vote away is dumb. This time, it’ll be that nothing changes for the better in Palestine, but their lack of engagement has very real costs to their own access to birth control, air and water quality, and their LGBTQ+ friends all of the sudden have to go back into hiding when the Supreme Court overturns protections for gay marriage (they’ve already signaled they will) and there’s nothing they can do about it for 4 years.

I’m aware. Stalinism has more in common with Fascism than either has with capitalism with a well supported social safety net. To say “Well, leftism can’t devolve into Fascism but capitalism can!” is odd semantics because leftism can and obviously has repeatedly fallen into the authoritarian trap.
