/c/opensource is currently unmoderated because all the existing mod accounts are inactive.

I’ll throw my hat in. I’ve moderated multiple Discord communities before and currently. I’ve also moderated forums back in the day.
I am passionate about FOSS and the community around it. I’ve been a Linux user for 4+ years now and work in IT, so I have a good handle on the current trends in tech.
Didn’t know that. I’m actually the sole moderator of a community I made on lemmy.ml, so that’s good to know. I do still have my old account on lemmy.ml as a moderator too tho.
I am willing to moderate. I have no moderation experience. My current account is on lemmy.world but I will create new account on lemmy.ml for this purpose. Since the new account will not have any history, hence I am posting from this account so you can see my history.
