It was back around 2018 that I was first learning the ropes in b2b sales, but I do think I felt similarly about people being able to detect parts of what I’d written that were copypasted, not lead-specific. So I just stopped copypasting stuff, wrote short nice genuine emails, opened up to the people that wrote back. Called the ones that didn’t. Always hated phone calls beforehand, but some good experiences on a few early calls definitely eased my nervousness.
I remember the first time I had to call the director of a big competitor, he was like “What was that? I can’t hear you, I’ll have to put the top down. I’m joyriding in my [luxury sports car] right now”. I found that extremely funny and it really broke the ice. And once I was able to be casual with him, I found it easy with pretty much everyone.
Licorice and chocolate, who knew that would work together? Well if it's Moersleutel and Kees, you know it will. Very interesting combination, but very well done. Choco more in nose, licorice in mouth. Some mint in the aftertaste. Thick, filming, heavy. #craftbeer#beer 🍻 #imperialsotut#beersofmastodon@beersofmastodon
Headlights - Dark Element - 4.5% ABV. B++, hazy, juicy, fruity and peppery. Peppery bitter finish #ale#beer#bier
3.5/5. Described as an extra pale ale but I’m going with an extra murky pale ale. I like it. Looks of dogs in Brew Monster, Caerphilly. #beersofmastodon@beersofmastodon
Lits - Flowerhorn - 5.5% ABV. B++, big on the lemoniness. Lemon, fruity, citrus with a lemon bitter finish #ale#beer#bier
3.5/5. From Ely, Cardiff finest. Very solid lemony, bitter ale. You would have no idea it’s 5.5% ABV. In Brew Monster, Caerphilly. #beersofmastodon@beersofmastodon
Nostalgia - Dark Elements - 4.5% ABV. B++, juicy, hoppy, fruity, gently bitter with a hint of pepper. Tidy brew #ale#beer#bier
3.5/5. Is Dark Elements the new Brew Monster now. Confused but not worried. Wish they had more guest ales in the fridge. #beersofmastodon@beersofmastodon
High Hops from Purple Moose B++ in a new style Hobgoblin Pint Glass. Great brew and a wonderful new style glass. Third finger fits nicely. #beersofmastodon@beersofmastodon
Unity - Mad Squirrel - 3.8% ABV. B+ and a bit. GF Summer ale. Malty, fruity, earthy hazy ale that’s light and refreshing #ale#beer#bier
3.3/5. A rather good start to this Saturday’s Beano and 50p off with a CAMRA voucher. Can now get ThreeUK in The Malcolm Uphill. #beersofmastodon@beersofmastodon
We only have a week left until early access starts, what are you guys doing to prepare for it? I've grinded out the carbuncle earring from the mogtome event and plan to do the wondrous tails for that extra exp. Also, both my inventory and glamour dresser are completely full, so I'll need to make some room beforehand.. But most importantly, I still need a fitting glam :D
Thank you ❤️ I’ve played around with Fantasias a little since I finished Endwalker but I always come back to my middie. And my Gyr Abania Plait hairstyle!
Self hosting kids-friendly multiplayer games on Raspberry Pi 4
I'm working on a little project and I would like to have some multiplayer game that I can play with the kids. Ideally they should be little kids friendly, so no doom or quake.
I tried Minecraft, bedrock but the latency over wifi (and it needs to be over wifi for my project) is really bad.
In an ideal situation, I'd like to have one or more games that
Can be played in multiplayer mode
Ideally you only need the browser
Is relatively lightweight, so can be run on a Raspberry Pi with Wifi
Any suggestions besides the one I mentioned? Maybe some emulator that can be used? Thanks!
Romm might fit, if you’ve got the patience to map controllers. Remember, it’s a BYO rom situation, but that’s nothing the guys over at @piracy can’t help you with.
I suppose it was really only a matter of time.... There weren't really any major features coming out and there where a good number of bugs, but it's still sad to see it go.
