Honestly? Gamers deserve all the shit they get, I’m all for consumer rights but I have no sympathy for the people that buys these games and then later complains about it. You’re not part of the problem, you are the problem.
Oh the irony, up until now it was basically a bannable offense to be caught topless on stream even if you were a dude, now they’re allowing borderline camwhoring (on a website full of children mind you). Really, the only moral or ethics these companies believe in is money.
God I miss Unreal Tournament, why can’t we have multiplayer games like this again? Just a silly fun multiplayer shooter with lots of options on how to play and no greedy shit on top.
You’re not alone, I think most people already forgot about it. In a way it’s a good thing, because with low expectations it’s much harder to end up in a situation like No Man’s Sky or Cyberpunk 2077 where the expectations were unachievably high.
So unbelievably stupid that a game that originally was PC only isn’t receiving a PC version for the remake. The Type-Moon suits are completely brain dead.
They only pulled the game off their stores because people were asking for refunds en masse, otherwise they would’ve happilly kept selling it like other platforms.
Can’t stand this Miyamoto quote. Not only it’s contentious at best (think of all the terrible games the kept getting delayed), it’s factually untrue since the mid to late 2000s when online patching for games became common practice across the industry.
I agree with the first impression aspect and I believe it’s important to get the release right because of it, but the phrase deliberately implies a bad game will always be bad which just isn’t true. “Bad impressions are forever” would be more accurate.
I know this is unrelated to the post, but honestly I’m just frustrated whenever Steam sends or shows anything related to the Steam Deck to me. If I click on the damn link they show me it’s “lol you ain’t in the US, get fucked bozo, better luck next life”. Like, why even bother showing me ads? I can’t buy the damn thing and all it does is make me bitter.
For a while now regional pricing here has been nothing more than a suggestion at best. And then they wonder why piracy is so rampant around these parts…
Ah yes, such “efficient development” for a remake that started development nearly ten years ago and had to be broken up into three parts just to get the first bit out of the door.
The gameplay looks somewhat bog standard, but I love the attention to detail and the audio design is very well made as well, it’s very immersive to say the least. The healing and weapon animations give me FarCry 2 vibes, it also has that same “tech demo” feeling with all the physics interactions, I miss that era of the 2000s when some games were very obvious tech demos for a studio’s new game engine like FarCry, Half-Life 2, Crysis, Doom 3 and so on…
