Alright, I got to ask. Having one app for all these services sounds great. I remember some drama around it though, don’t recall the details. So what am I missing, is this actually good news?
Its not open source but neither are most of the apps it connects to.
So I haven’t compared any and I am not sure if you are up to that but there are several fan-made upscales available online for all of DS9, as long as you are willing to sail the high seas.
“You want a finger? I can get you a finger, believe me. There are ways, Dude. You don’t wanna know about it, believe me. I’ll get you a finger by this afternoon–with nail polish. These fucking amateurs.”
Its a news site but the only place you can find the date of the article is in the URL. Sometimes I am baffled by the weird design decisions people are making.
Its not a notification like that. I open the site in the mobile browser, not a PWA in case you are thinking that.
There is a small “pop-up” at the bottom then that asks you to use their app instead. But its not even layering over the site so you could just leave it be.
I would never again install a big social media app on my phone. I am actually just using LinkedIn via a browser shortcut, they keep bugging me about installing the app but that’s definitely not going to happen.
