I read somewhere that traumatic brain injuries are correlated with voting Republican, but I don’t know if there’s any causation or in which direction it goes. A lot of Republicans might just have lives where they’re more at risk of getting injured.
It is in fact often intentional. It’s basically the same business model as printers. They make money from the refills, not the machine. Obviously people want to save money with generic paper, so they make sure the dispenser only works right with their paper.
What the dispenser manufacturer doesn’t consider is that whoever orders the paper doesn’t use the dispenser, so they don’t give a shit whether the dispenser works well or not. In fact, it not dispensing well saves even more money on paper!
They’re talking about the projected results, not their merits as candidates. Their whole point was that the main grievance against Biden also applies to all other candidates, yet only Biden is being dinged for it.
Although to be fair most simulation code I’ve come across was written by Physics majors who really shouldn’t be writing code. Most of those implementations are a crime against engineering and humanity alike.
They do the job, though, and I suppose crimes against engineering are better than crimes against physics, if one had to choose.
This isn’t even about preference, though. Most people would recognize Taylor Swift before they’d recognize any NFL players, even if they hate her music.
Why would you be fascinated by that? She’s probably been more famous than all of the NFL combined for more than a decade. Why wouldn’t she get more attention than them?
I’m not sure which version of Gnome you used before, but Cinnamon is a fork of Gnome 2 and pretty popular. Looks fairly similar to Windows out of the box. Xfce is another popular choice.
