I am mostly excited for Blue Mage updates, but there is also criterion dungeon helping Hancock this time in Kugane, next step in the relic weapon quest which I don’t see them going away from tomes again, and more Hildibrand quests.
6.45 is going to have our next Criterion dungeon. The last time around we had some kind of interesting mechanics, so I’m looking forward to the next one. Any thoughts on stuff we might see?
I think historically that an expansion name and teaser trailer come from the first Fan Fest of the year, but I’m not 100% sure… what sorts of announcements do you want to see?
I doubt they’ll do a full reveal this early but that would be cool! We know we’re getting a caster this time around, it would be cool to know what the other role is. Maybe a ranged physical? We got tank/ranged physical in ShB and we only have 3 ranged physical… so maybe that one makes sense.
Yeah, 7.0 for that seems likely. It’s a bummer they’ve said no more “new” races in general, but at least getting the Hrothgar gender parity would be cool.
It can usually be a good idea to level a few jobs at once and switch back and forth to make the most efficient use of your experience. Eventually things will taper off a bit and you’ll be swapping around less, though.
So for the longest time my character has been a male highlander Hyur. I made him to kinda look like me. I usually tank in DF, and would receive a middling amount of commendations after a run....
I usually play healer so I get comms by default. To try to restore some amount of balance I always give my comm to whichever DPS had the least upsetting performance. However, if Limit Break is never used the entire time and I cast it on the last boss as the healer then I give it to the tank, instead. :)
