oxideseven, to games in Microsoft’s recent layoffs contradict what the company promised of its merger, the FTC says.

Surely not, right? RIGHT?!

oxideseven, to games in Avowed Team Is 'Actively Working on' Making Combat More Impactful, Says Director

Easy solution, go 3rd person.

oxideseven, to games in First game you played

Sheesh. That’s a tough one. My memory is trash from TBIs… Maybe pong, or space invaders? I think it would be something that was in an arcade. Our first console was the NES with SMB, but we definitely played in arcades before that.

oxideseven, to games in The Weekly 'What are you playing?' Discussion

Prepare to do lots of crying. I cried a lot with this game. It’s wonderful.

oxideseven, to games in Dungeons & Dragons turns 50 this year, and there’s a lot planned for it

To heck with WotC! Play Shadow of the Demon Lord/Weird Wizard

oxideseven, (edited ) to games in Which games do you dislike, but the rest of the world loves them?

Zelda BotW and TotK. I just kind of get board cus the game is so wide but so shallow. I wish I could like it cus there is a ton to like.

Any souls like. They just seem very lazy and the combat is just silly to me.

Just about any competitive game honestly. Part of it is I suck at them but mainly the trash talking toxic communities. Plus honestly I’m not very competitive.

Pokemon. I can’t wrap my head around the complexity and “meta” and the story doesn’t real matter anymore. I did like my first Pokemon game but that’s it.

Most Mario except Mario RPG. I played the heck out of SMB 1-3 but when that was all that was available. When games expanded so did my tastes I guess.

FFT is probably my all time favorite as well.

The tone, setting, story, art style has remained unmatched in my mind.

Tons have tried to replicate the tactics combat stuff and plenty have succeeded and improved or changed upon that formula, but I don’t think any of them have had that feel to it. Even the other FFT games.

oxideseven, (edited ) to games in Palworld has broken Counter-Strike's all-time concurrent players peak at 1.8 million, and is now #2 most played game on Steam ever. It is only behind PUBG which holds the record at 3.2 million.

Do people riding horses gross you out too, or relying on dogs to find injured people in accidents? Animals have had jobs with people throughout history.

Do you not fight wolves, attack dogs, dragons, and other animals on any other game you’ve played?

You don’t have to butcher your pals. There is no in game need for it. You have pals, you pet them and feed them and provide for their needs and they help you cut a tree down. Sometimes they don’t feel like it and they just don’t do it. What’s the problem?

oxideseven, to games in Never Grave: The Witch and The Curse - Announcement Trailer

This company’s whole thing is to basically copy other successful games and make their own spin. Same company as Palworld.

oxideseven, to games in Games that force you to make hard choices

SO STRESSFUL!

I love this game so much. I have to constantly walk away from the stress lol.

oxideseven, to games in Starfield is now mostly negative in recent reviews

Because people can’t have different opinions?

I still think the game is fine. I still think it did some very interesting things. I got over 100 hours of playtime from it. I played on gamepass too. So I definitely got my monies worth.

Does it have problems? Sure. Quite a few, but it’s still enjoyable enough of you don’t expect the too much. It also had tons of potential of they actually release the creation kit.

I don’t think it’s the worst game ever. It’s not even their worst game.

oxideseven, to games in War Thunder players leak military documents on forums, again

9 total so far.

oxideseven, to games in Starfield design director calls out unfair game criticism: 'Don't fool yourself into thinking you know why it is the way it is'

I had fun with it. I put in about a hundred hours.

It’s fine. It’s not complete crap and had tons of potential. It missed the mark on a few things for sure.

These constant aggressive comments from the Dev team though… That I’m not a fan of.

oxideseven, to games in Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader - Review Thread

Played for about 6 hours, great time. I only had 1 “bug” do far. A tutorial popped up before I did something to trigger it. That thing was in the room though.

I don’t ever get many bugs though while gaming so I’m probably not the best example.
