Gooey0210,

There are many tools for Linux that do a lot of different stuff

I remember there were some that allowed running games straight without steam and maybe even creating shortcuts, but any of those is a headache to setup, I mean, to run a game without steam you need to do 15 manual steps, to create a shortcut 30 manual steps

Edit: maybe something has changed, I don’t use steam a lot, and I used those tools some years ago

P.s. the coolest tool for me is the app for extracting tye session with all those steam guard and etc

Gooey0210,

I have an interesting solution- LoRa

You will need some extra hardware, but it will be possible to messsage and share GPS if the board supports it, or even walkie talkie style voice messages on some firmwares

Gooey0210,

Don’t forget you’re contributing your code to Bill’s AI

Gooey0210,

Good take, but anyway, we are going to ignore all of them anyway

Waiting for forgejo federated repo search, federated code search, federated issues, then we can finally block github on DNS level

Gooey0210,

What is it again? 😅😅😅

Gooey0210,

You’re right, there’s no description in the post, and very little description in the repo. A lot of words about a patch, a patch, a patch, but a patch to what exactly? It says of game, but what kind of game, how does it look, what are the cool things about the game, you understand me 😄

Gooey0210,

Simplex has its issues, fixes are on their way

I’m actually surprised to see that the battery and contact change are their biggest issues, for it would be many more other things

Gooey0210,

You never know what new to expect from old

Gooey0210,

It’s basically illegal to do anything in Germany🫠

Gooey0210,

Nah, nah, nah, it’s illegal too

Gooey0210,

Bangle.js

AsteroidOS

Or any smart band supported by Gadgetbridge

Gooey0210,

I have some more questions, teacher

If I lived in a country for some years/time, how do I say that?

Also, if I worked as somebody?

And in general, difference between have been and had been?

Thank you

Gooey0210,

I love you for being so human

Just a random person on the internet asked you to explain something, and you did, you’re so cool

Thank you for the explanation, I will really remember and keep it for my whole life

❤️‍🩹

(No sarcasm, really, people these days are so mean and tell you to look everything up yourself, or just get angry because you ask or don’t know. Even though you could just copy and paste, this is a human interaction. Really happy to see somebody’s still alive)

Gooey0210,

Next step is to make it public to help other people and blend your data/traffic

Gooey0210,

Nowhere explicitly at least

I don’t consume much content, and when I see or hear an ad I get very frustrated and angry

Gooey0210,

Same for simplex 🫠

Gooey0210,

Me, my friends, and family are using it

Aaand… Everyone is hating it, tbh 🤣

The notifications are unreliable and at the same time it drains 20% of the battery

Waiting for fixes, also want to setup my own relay

Gooey0210,

Secure and private by design is the solution

Nobody can compromise you if they can’t

Gooey0210,

Many question marks, one answer- Gitea

Gooey0210,

Works for me on mull like that, same url

1000029673

Gooey0210,

I couldn’t quite understand, can you elaborate? 😅

Gooey0210,

You can add the one from the post, and it works really well, at least for me

Note: you add the link as a search engine, and it will give you a random instance every time

Gooey0210,

Yeah, this is a pain for me too actually

There’s the no-js version, but it doesn’t seem to be automatic, and also there’s a tor only version

A German state is ditching Windows and Microsoft Office for Linux and LibreOffice on the 30,000 PCs it uses for local government functions (www.theregister.com)

Schleswig-Holstein, Germany’s most northern state, is starting its switch from Microsoft Office to LibreOffice, and is planning to move from Windows to Linux on the 30,000 PCs it uses for local government functions....

Gooey0210,

It’s not a lot of stuff really going on in foss/anti-bigtech

If they do it in all states at once there will be nothing to talk about in years

Gooey0210,

Fun fact, Nguyen is a family name

It’s the most popular family name in Vietnam, 30-39%

Gooey0210,

PS Vita was superb

Gooey0210,

Was there any? I don’t remember I remember only memory cards for games, but I already had everything on the psn account and PS+

Gooey0210,

Second, second to be precise

In Vietnamese the family name goes first, so Nguyen Andy 😂

Gooey0210,

Damn, I really can’t remember any 🥲

Gooey0210,

Cash is op

How do I buy crypto? I know a lot of freelancers/digital nomads that get their salary in crypto, and I exchange it for them

Gooey0210, (edited )

I’m retarded, I won’t ever use cash

Damn, edit, edit, I wanted to say banks 😆

Gooey0210,

You should reduce yourself from Instagram

Gooey0210,

Please… Why would anyone remake it in first person

You’re really loosing a lot when switching from the original look

Also, original fallout’s combat is turn based, turn based is awesome, first person shooter is not awesome

Gooey0210,

I see too much useless reddit lately, please stop

Gooey0210,

It was at some point at least 🫠

I’m still on the no poop challenge

Gooey0210,

Not sure what this software is trying to solve, there’s qrencode 😄

Gooey0210,

Check out Vietnam, almost everyone here is Nguyen, 30-39% to be precise

Gooey0210,

The past part sounds like a joke, love all the sources, but they all have a beef with GOS 😆

So bringing up GOS in those communities can spark some controversial discussions

In the meanwhile in GOS community it’s strictly prohibited to mention those projects, and every time any of the projects says “Graphene” GOS asks them to not to 😅

Gooey0210,

Mostly correct, but at the same time Techlore in their “Graphene toxic community” videos explicitly multiple times said that it’s better to avoid projects that have bad/toxic communities or devs

Gooey0210,

But if they don’t know my name or anything at all? 🤭

Signal requiring phone number, thoughts on anonymity?

signal requires a phone number to sign up. a phone number could be used to trace your signal account back to you. so why do people, especially privacy enthusiasts and experts (like edward snowden), still use it and endorse it when it lacks anonymity in that sense? i get that people could use a voip number or something to sign...

Gooey0210,

How is your VOIP cheap exactly? 🤔🤔🤔

Gooey0210,

This is way not cheap 😅😅😅😅

One of the main issues of jmp chat is the price

There are some VoIP services that are $20 a year, and I wanted to compare if there’s anything interesting and cheap
