caseyweederman,

Haha, excellent. A good blend of Oglaf and Pocketss.

caseyweederman,

Huh! I didn’t realize that. It was a cool product.

caseyweederman,

Dungeons and Daddies had a running gag about exactly this.

caseyweederman,

Goldeneye (1997), Perfect Dark (2000)
Perfect Dark was a great game, but the multiplayer was a copy/paste of the game whose engine it was built in, no?

caseyweederman,

Right, but… It totally revolutionized a thing that already existed by applying incremental improvements?
Oh, cooperative campaign would be very substantial, wouldn’t it? And you could play as her sister.

Is there any way to turn my Linux machine into a docking station?

The thing is like this: I have a windows laptop I use for work, and a Linux desktop machine. I have a single screen keyboard etc. and I switch between the two using a docking station. But, I wonder if there is a way for me to “cut the middle man” and just plug/unplug my linux machine....

caseyweederman,

What is already installed on the work laptop? VNC? RDP? SSH? Anything?

caseyweederman,

Oh dang, I hadn’t heard about that one. I’ll have to check it out.

caseyweederman,

He’s doing alright now, got a steady job, seems happy, gets to work outdoors and express himself

caseyweederman,

GIVE ROTOR

caseyweederman,

I mean you have a section for Canonical Breeders. Which I guess means they’re always pushing Snaps onto people?

caseyweederman,

I only want my web to be pvp

caseyweederman,

Definitely every other person trying to load the website at that time, in a big burly brawl battle arena.

caseyweederman,

Arceus is great and I hope they don’t squash the life out of the new Legends game, thinking that the success behind their break from the formula was a new formula.

caseyweederman,

Your post isn’t loading for me but I hope it’s the bird that’s bad at math

caseyweederman,

Nice.
Must be my client, I saw the still image just fine.
Here’s the bird:

caseyweederman,

Valve says you’re not allowed to do that anyway

caseyweederman,

Aw I didn’t make it in time to say automatic circumcisors

caseyweederman,

It’s right up there with Albuquerque

caseyweederman,

Yes but you can still say matching salt and pepper shakers

caseyweederman,

Yes.
Now I don’t have enough time, and I’m tired.

How easy is it to switch back to windows?

I’m considering switching to linux but I’m not a computer savvy person, so I wanted to have the option to switch back to windows if unforeseen complications (I only have 1 pc). Is it just a download on usb and install? And what ways can I get the product key or “cleaner” debloated versions.

caseyweederman,

Not just Debian but ditch Gnome too. KDE really pulled me in. So much about it just makes sense that I’m mad I didn’t take it seriously sooner.

caseyweederman,

I compiled my own drivers

caseyweederman,

Could you explain the “no need to review” part? I do keep hearing good things about Rust.

caseyweederman,

Security patches do the opposite of break stuff

caseyweederman,

Is it not possible to build that functionality into C/++ compilers?

caseyweederman,

Um. Can’t users already install anything published on flathub?

caseyweederman,

Tim Schafer on why he sold out: “What if I had… a lot of money”.
Where’s Double Fine now?

caseyweederman,

I’ve been a Gnome fanboy for years, after initially disliking the shift between 2 and 3.
I dipped into Plasma when 6.0 came out and I’m mad that I didn’t try sooner.

It’s the exact opposite of your experience, about Gnome not having scroll wheel speed adjustment. “Wait, other DEs had figured this out? For how long??”
There was so much I’d just put up with, thinking that if Gnome hadn’t figured it out, nobody had.

KDE is something I can set up on friends’ computers and walk away, confident that it wouldn’t give them any trouble.

caseyweederman,

Fedora is considering switching to Plasma by default.

Many big maintainers are working hard to make the experience better for the average user. Things are getting better.
