I don’t think this is true. I use a similar setup for gaming and I’m able to play incredibly graphically demanding games such as cyberpunk 2077 and teardown. At quite decent framerates.

I’ve got a gtx 980ti absolute beauty both the 900 and 10xx series GPUs are amazing . Sadly those sandy/ivy bridge CPUs are getting older in years and don’t support the latest instruction sets. But they are still perfect for running most games today.

It really depends on where you look.And how patient you are. You can find some amazing deals and there certainly is alot of value proposition. And in some cases it might work out better to purchase an old prebuilt. Generally I recommend if your purchasing ram or a blue-ray drives to check out CEX.

Being a “cemtrist” isn’t “bs” M8 I think being a fence sitter is as valid as any other political opinion or statement M8. Sometimes it’s best to not pick a side. I’m a fifthy fence sitter myself. I personally am a non interventionist. I don’t think we should send our young men to die in foreign conflict that has nothing to do with us. Although I’m up for private charities or private companies sending aid.

The 600 series still looks to be clinging on just by an inch impressive cards. I saw some benchmarks the other day 650ti boost can play cyberpunk 2077 at just abouts 29fps Although considering your using the 660 to drive a couple of displays maybe it’s worth considering selling it and getting a display adapter you’ll gain a couple of quid and save money on power. It’s not exactly practical to be using a gtx 660 just for a couple of displays
