even better when you know that we don’t even know how it sounded. Ancient Egyptians didn’t bother to write down vowels, all we have today is educated guesses as to how some words could’ve been pronounced
i dislike most rap music, which means i don’t actively look for that genre of music to listen to it, but i won’t burst into flames if a friend of mine puts some rap in the queue at the party, and i won’t complain about it (unless they’ve been hogging the queue with non stop 3h of rap, then i will complain)
i hate dishonesty and manipulation, if i spot it i’ll instantly feel a surge of intense negative emotions and a strong repulsion to whoever was dishonest or manipulative (relative to the offence of course, lying about eating the snack i was saving vs lying about idk being faithful don’t prompt the same reaction)
i don’t think you can really hate any genre of music or particular band, as the other person said, proclaiming yourself a “hater” of a popular genre or group is just contrarianism for contrarianism’s sake, 5 years down the line it’ll stop being cool to hate on that music and that’s when you stop “hating” them
fun fact but I find the opposite to be true in trivia games, if an answer is too detailed it’s more likely to be false. That’s how I won a trivia game about the life of some guy when I barely recognised his name
the reason why air pollution gets worse during the winter is that cold air is denser and moves slower than warm air, which traps the pollution for longer in one spot. this problem is especially prominent in cities and valleys, and if your city is in a valley?- Well there’s a reason why shops here sell masks during the winter, nobody wears them, but hey it’s an option i guess
he got famous by giving away money, now he’s giving away money with extra steps (those steps being various degrees of having to “earn it” through challenges) so he’s basically became a game show host
ehh, as someone with adhd i didn’t get far into old who. I understand the constraints of the era and the budget but without something to stimulate my brain (like sound design, music, various camera shots, eccentric acting) i’d just rather read a book about it so i can imagine those myself
tbh despite how accurate this description it i understand why he does that. To give away money you need to have money, and he makes his money by creating videos on YouTube, a video where someone does a challenge and earns a million dollars is going to be much more popular than a video of him just walking around and giving people money (again)
one thing you should care about is THC %, there’s a big difference between say 5% and 20%
5% THC weed will give you a nice relaxing high, the same amount of 20% THC weed will send you so far into space you can basically call it a psychodelic experience
dude tell that to my country’s goverment. So far all anxiety meds i’ve tried made me feel worse, and i’ve just been smoking sometimes when it gets too bad. Weed is the only things that’s worked for me so far. Obviously i haven’t tried all the anxiety meds out there but fucking hell, the last ones i have a shot made me feel like i was mid-panic attack the entire day, i’d rather not have to potentially experience that again
yes but we need to ackowledge them as people. Because no matter how much their views disgust us they’re still built of the same flesh and blood as we are, they are a warning, to you and people around you, to not fall into the same ideological trap as they did. If you just consider them “not human” you put yourself at risk of following their steps.
All the cruel people in history we call monsters were humans. It’s an unnerving thought to share any likness with them, but it’s important we remember that nobody is born evil
Every person I’ve seen online talk about it wishes to be you, everybody wants to experience it for the first time again. To unravel the mystery once again, to have the pieces fall into place and understand it for the first time again. As the other person said - you can complete the game in 15 minutes, but it’ll take you 15h+ to understand how to do that. It’s a wonderful little piece of art which nobody will tell you anything about - because they don’t dare to ruin your experience of playing it for the first time.
It’s about space, it’s about curiosity, it’s about discovery, and learning, and that’s about how much I’m willing to say about it.
You just have to take our word for it. It’s the type of game that comes once a decade and stays in peoples’ hearts forever.
if I got high for it it’d be even worse. I mainly struggled with jagged movement, no time to answer properly, and the UI being shitwank. That’d give me a headache and frustrate me even more when high
honestly I don’t remember, I played it for less than 2h and refunded it years ago. The only thing that comes to me is the timeline screen which was just? dafuq is this and why should I care? It looked important but nothing was explained
I think they betted on modders to do that but after a month or two when the excitement wore off and reality hit in even the most hardcore bethesda fanboys, most of the ambitious projects got cancelled and everyone went back to modding skyrim lmao
I paid for skyrim on different platforms solid 3 times so I decided to uh, DIY myself a demo of Starfield, and after 2 weeks the charm wore off, after a month I just rushed to see what’s at the end, and uninstalled it
soon after Starfield I finally got around to playing Outer Wilds, and despite the fact the cycle in that game is 20min instead of like 50h+, it actually serves a vital purpose to the narrative. I’m desperately resisting devolving into a cult like worship for the next 20 paragraphs praising Outer Wilds but like - go play it if you haven’t already, it’s spectacular.
nah, best you’ll get is a deal like “buy this $60 game and we’ll give you uhh, $10 in credit or smth, idc just buy the game”. sometimes physical shops discount their games but that’s entirely up to the owners of the shops.
Nintendo’s flagship titles are basically immune to sales
you keep taking photos of cool bugs patient man! I’ll stick to setting my camera to like 1/1000 shutter speed and trying to capture one as it sprints away from me lmaoo
trans man here, I also prefer to smell like raspberries or coconuts over uh “sports”, “extreme” or “blue”. Though sometimes you get a nice smelling product in the men’s section, like strong citrus or foresty, those are good

I saw this on infinity for Reddit earlier, I don’t know if there’s a workaround for this or not.
