My son asked me if I would play league of legends with him, so tried it for the first time. So much going on!...

What have you all been playing?...

I’ve always found myself bouncing off hard on “make your own fun” type games like Minecraft or the newer Zeldas. This extends to any type of game that has no clear goals or motivators....

Beehaw has me thinking about bees…...

I feel like this game kind of came out of nowhere. We got a few small announcements and then nothing major until close to the release date, unlike the insane marketing blitz that was FF15. Maybe I was just out of the loop....

My friends and I have been exhausting our current library of games and are looking for suggestions. It tends to be pretty hard for us to all meet at the same time. Usually we prefer to do stuff that we can finish in one session on the weekends because one person might have to leave as another person joins. Don't mind if its new...

I’ve had a great time playing some of the ‘smaller’ games lately: Dredge (adore this game so much), Dave the Diver, Cloudpunk, Stray, Octopath II, Observer....

I have been on a kick lately with short games. Because I’m a parent with a hectic job, it’s really nice to be able to beat a game in just a few days....

I've always been more into competitive games, like FPS and MOBA. But now, I'm starting to like more story-focused games that will add something to my life, or just awesome games that everyone should play at some time....

The other thread about favorite mechanics is great, so let's also do the opposite: what are some of your most hated mechanics?

In case you’re out of the loop, the old Steam Deck had Philips screws that screwed into self-tapping plastic holes. This lead to occasional stripped threads and often stripped screwheads....
