Thanks for your feedback, but I tend to stay away from app that hasn’t been updated in a while (that one and all the other GitHub alternatives on F-Droid are years old☹).

    I found this repo of an earlier version of their app: github.com/github/android

    As you’ll see, that redirects to a different repo, because they abandoned it.

    GitHub itself is definitely not open-source. That’s a frequent criticism of the service. The app might be, but it would be a weird departure from their normal distribution model.
