David O’Keeffe is 27 years old and in both of the past two presidential elections – spanning the entire time he could cast a ballot – he’s been voting against Donald Trump rather than for Trump’s challenger, he says.
“Never in my life have I voted in a presidential general election for a candidate who aligns with my political agenda and how I see our country solving our biggest problems,” he told ABC News in a recent interview.
And the DNC still pretends they don’t know why younger people don’t vote.
They know, they’d just rather lose to a Republican than ran a candidate that wants the same things as voters.
Like, if Obama hadn’t snuck in for 08, it would almost be believable that they couldn’t figure it out. But they know how to win elections if they wanted.
They just don’t want to piss off the donors. With a popular candidate, you don’t need a billion dollars changing hands and everyone getting a slice.
