reddig33,

Anyone else old enough to remember those “look for the union label” jingle commercials?

LMAO…

krashmo,

I mean, everything is made in China. I’m not one to shy away from calling out Republican hypocrisy but this one seems like a stretch. There’s plenty of things to criticize these guys for without making it sound like you’re just looking for something to be contrarian about.

Every single American who isn’t living in a yurt is carrying or wearing or interacting with made-in-China merch, most of the time as they go about their day.

If someone rants about something being a danger to the US, then doesn’t avoid buying that thing, they are a hypocrit and should be called out.

Shiggles,

“I cannot reasonably purchase anything not connected to China, this is an issue”

“Wow guys, he just admitted to buying things from China! What a hypocrite!”

C’mon.

There’s a difference between not buying anything from China, which would be nearly impossible, and not specifically having your own merch made there, though, especially when you get to choose the manufacturer. It’s not like China is the only place you can have these things made.

jeffw,

Democrats frequently rely on US union shops for their campaign goods. This guy didn’t have to buy from China
