I thought at first It might be a problem with LW servers but after three days, I concluded they are banning Tor and VPN users from posting, I Have found a user post...

I’ve heard of things like iPostal and Traveling Mailbox. Do these services allow you to register with bank, DMV, IRS, Voting, etc? How do they work? Would a normal P.O box using its physical address from USPS work? I’ve tried researching it and haven’t gotten clear answers....

Due to my line of work, I find myself having to use both these services frequently, despite avoiding google as much as I can. I see a lot of alternatives out there for internet searching, but when it comes to specific fields, alternatives tend to be scarce.

I’ve looked at a few on fdroid and they all seem like they aren’t being maintained anymore....

I’ve recently heard about their services, and others like them, and wanted to know what privacy-focused people thought about them, what experiences they may have had, and whether this was recommended for people who have a footprint they want scrubbing (even if only in part) or not?

For weeks, I can’t reach qwant maps anymore. Is it down for you guys as well? Does anyone know anything? There isn’t even a mention on their main pages of it anymore. They just purged everything without further notice. Is that the same experience for you? I’m accessing with a VPN from within france.

I’ve attempted to create a VM on my ubuntu host machine that is accessing the internet via a dedicated VPN app. I’m able to disconnect my host VPN and access the web within the VM, but cannot access the web when the host VPN is enabled. Ideally I’d like to enable the VPN on the host and pass through web access to the VM....
