@games Games to replace Total War: Warhammer 3 with?
There have been rumors/controversies about the next #totalwar Warhammer 3 DLC, while I don't personally believe them, it's true that we're reaching the lifecycle end of this franchise, I'm thinking of a contingency plan, I've played this series since 2017, and to replace with something else is going to take a while.
Still, here are some of my ideas, and I would like to hear others from the community
I absolutely love disciples 2 and would highly recommend it. The unit progression trees give it a lot of replayability. Even though the third instalment gets worse reviews it’s also pretty good and has some nice graphics and a more dynamic battlefield. Maybe consider its competition as well (heroes of might and magic and eador). There is a far east themed 4x game called oriental empires that also has interesting army mechanics. Humankind and millennia sound like titles that should at least be mentioned even if you already pointed out that you don’t like paradox.
I hadn't been to Third Hill Brewing in #SilverSpring, #Maryland since opening weekend, so Mrs. Porterman and I stopped by. She had the Fun Time Selzer and loved it. I had the I Hart Stout, a 10.1% ABV imperial stout. Malty, roasty, and smooth. I followed it up with Three Strikes, You're Stout!, a 6.8% ABV American stout. This one reminded me of a black IPA. I just loved the hoppy bitterness, and it's one of the best beers I've had in a very very long time. #ItsAlwaysStoutSeason@beersofmastodon
Needed? Hmm, most folks don't have a fan for it... But for me, I see good improvements on the battery and obviously heat. Keeps it around 120 F (49 C) vs 150F (66 C) + without the fan
I just tried it out. I thought the initial version was an improvement, but this is overwhelmingly positive for me. All 3 characters of mine look amazing.
Yeah, I’m quite happy with the changes! I do kinda miss the softer lighting on the ethereal background, but this version really sings in the low light environments. I’m so excited to not look like a ghoul in indoor environments!
Maximus, in collaboration with a liquor store and local beer club: Una Maximas, NZ rice lager.
👃🏻Grape, lime, peach, chives.
👁️ Light yellow, hazy. Stable white head.
👅 Dry, thin body, but the hop aromas make for a tasty brew. Very refreshing, and easy drinking. Very slight hop burn.
I received a box full of goodness from the Maximus #brewery
in Utrecht (NL), following the release of their newest special: Psycho Cyclops NEIPA. I tried it, and wrote a blog post about the experience!
Spoiler: it's smooooth, not bitter at all, and massively tropical.🍻
I use floorp at home and firefox at work and I would like to sync password between those in a self-hosted way. I saw some mozilla server code somewhere to do so, but seems abandoned.
I would prefer a native mozilla-like solution instead of installing an extension, but if nothing else, that is also an alternative... suggestions?
I waffled back and forth on retiring my main character for the end of Endwalker and using my free fanta to change things up. Decided to stick with my femroe, though, and bring her “out of retirement” as it were.
My first plan will probably be to check out Viper and Pictomancer to see if they feel like I’d vibe with them, and then will likely start MSQ stuff a bit after the initial rush has died down. Will likely stick with RDM primary with SGE secondary for the MSQ.
Interesting point! We saw a preview of the icon for the “facewear” slot and it was a pair of glasses but there’s definitely a number of things that would work as face wear that aren’t just glasses.
Hopefully you’re onto something and it’s not just a localisation thing.
Currently I'm backing up my personal computer on a local server and a remote repository. The easiest solution is to have a cronjob for 2 processes. However, I'm wondering if it is possible to scan the files only once and send the backup updates to both repositories instead of doing two scans... suggestions?
Even better and more balanced than a few years ago: smokey, tar, leather, earthy and some sweetness wrapped around it.
Music pairing: Mouth for War - Panterra 🤘
"Our GROM made a trip to mediaeval Scotland. We have aged our Russian Imperial Stout in freshly emptied Laphroaig barrels. A slightly peated monster of a stout. Just as William Wallace would have liked it."
