I started Grindstone on Apple Arcade and it’s amazing! Definitely recommend if you have an iPhone or Nintendo Switch.

Yeah that's fair. They were never terribly impressive visually, but their affordability is what made them appealing. Much cheaper than a Game Boy + games.

I just can't do it anymore. 30fps makes me feel nauseous. 100% of the time I'd prefer reduced visual fidelity for increased frame rate.
