fckreddit,

Yeah, I am skeptical. What would be the energy expenditure of actually storing CO2 into those blocks and what about transporting them? I have a feeling this is like carbon capture plants, great for the headlines, but not really a practical solution.

fckreddit,

This post is just a copy pasta.

fckreddit,

But, the current system helps them pretend that it is objective. It’s like meritocracy, it only exists in theory, not in practice.

fckreddit,

I have seen the exact same post posted by multiple people in LinkedIn and it is posted only for farming reactions and followers. They didn’t truly do this.

fckreddit,

Don’t worry Geoff, when it comes to AAA games, my expectations are already at rock-bottom. I expect almost every single AAA game to have some kind of catch be it microtransactions, or live service, or some shitty launcher requirement, etc.

fckreddit,

Not by much, but I sure am excited about AAAAA games.

fckreddit,

I was saving up to buy PS5 for a long time too. But, when I couldn’t buy one, I just bought PS4 for half price and then, since Sony releases it’s games on PC anyway, I am not going to buy PS5. I have no need for that.

fckreddit,

Maybe check for errors before posting it?

fckreddit,

I fart in my boss’s general direction.

fckreddit,

Or more child slavery, maybe? Sorry, that is for batteries.

fckreddit,

I always find it ironic that people with the most money are always the hungriest for it. Their entire lives revolve around it, and they are willing to pay any other price for it. They will kill ecosystems, pollute everything and even destroy societies for it.

fckreddit,

What kind of name is this? Does this stand for ’Beyblade X Xbox One’?

fckreddit,

These execs are the biggest costs these businesses have to incur. Maybe, do the industry a favour and fire yourself.

fckreddit,

So, like mobile games? Got it.

fckreddit,

Since advertisers are already paying for EA games, we need not buy them.

Seriously though, only thing capitalism breeds is enshittification.

fckreddit,

So, broken and buggy game with battle-pass and a perfectly functioning store from day one? Of course, a promise to fix the game with a roadmap within a week of launch. Yeah, a tremendous live service indeed.

fckreddit,

They all tried to do live service games and when it all fell apart, the ones who made the decisions cut loose the devs. It is really that simple. Execs were simply too optimistic about their chances of success and when their own decisions threatened their bonuses, they put someone else on the chopping block.

fckreddit,

No one going to miss these publishers. They think by hoarding franchises , but firing devs who actually made these franchises great, they could ride the coattails to success. But, they need to learn the lesson that franchises only matter as long as people care about them and people only care about as long as the games are actually good. By killing studios and firing devs, you lose the ability to make great games and then, your hoarded franchises fade into irrelevance.

fckreddit,

EGS is terrible as a store. You can only give reviews only when it asks you to, even then, it is not a free-form review. Your reviews are not visible to the customers. The entire store is designed to bamboozle the customer into buying a shitty game. No wonder most people refuse to use the store to buy games.

fckreddit,

This. People paying hundreds for a skin in CS and hundred for a new game mode that they might not even get into are the reason things we get games like Suicide Squad.

fckreddit,

Is this even legal? The companies that gave money to Embracer would lose their money, instead of Embracer who is responsible for the loss. Sounds fucked up to be honest.

fckreddit,

Well, Daedelic is closed. They need a new Daedelic.

fckreddit,

Why should we care about what ESA says? They are literally Game Publishers. Preservation is for the art aspects of video game, not for business interests.

fckreddit,

AC2 holds up really well. I was playing it just last month.

fckreddit,

Yeah, honestly, I was surprised by that too. It was really apparent how much love and care went into that game. I miss Ubisoft of that era.

fckreddit,

This feels exploitative AF on multiple levels.

fckreddit,

That’s what you said about the game, Todd.

fckreddit,

Yeah, the world’s only infinite power generator.

fckreddit,

Yeah, I feel like they could have added more portcrystals and also, made ferrystones more common than it currently it. Travelling is genuinely a chore in this game. In DDDA, eternal ferrystone made things much easier, relatively speaking.

fckreddit,

City builders in general don’t need a good story or engaging exploration. This is antithesis to Bethesda’s games from the past. But, of course, because of the massive empty spaces in Starfield, it made sense to turn it into a city builder.

fckreddit,

Problem is that Dragon’s dogma 2’a save system is pretty unpredictable. It’s autosave can be too aggressive where when you load a last save you might not be able to get out of a bad situation and Last Inn save might be from hours past so you can lose hours of progress, which can severely hamper the exploration. I feel like Inn save must instead be a Camp save, which would have been best of the both worlds.

fckreddit,

The CEOs of these investor funded companies have forgotten that investors are not their customers, gamers are. This will hurt them in the long run because they are pissing off their customer base, people who really given them money to appease their shareholders. It never ends well for the companies.

fckreddit,

The game and WB can go screw themselves for all I care. They literally killed one of the greatest studios for petty greed. This game deserves to sink like a stone with no trace left.

fckreddit,

Another shitfluencer, huh.

fckreddit,

Maybe it is only my personal opinion. But, what this guy calls cult, I call “a group of suckers.” Because these people will always get shortchanged for sucking up to one company or one brand.

fckreddit,

Ads ads and more ads. At this point, it seems everything is about ads. This is getting really annoying, really fast.

fckreddit,

Embracer thinks that by buying studios, it could somehow magically make money. Embracer has no sense of the gaming market or who to sell what games? It has no sense about what projects to greenlight or not. It had already failed once, and it will fail again, most probably.

fckreddit,

I played and completed both Arkham Asylum and Arkham City again since SS came out. Both games hold up so remarkably well, considering both are more than a decade old. The impeccable atmosphere of Arkham Asylum and the story of Arkham City are still perfect, IMO. It is so heartbreaking to see this once great studio fall so far due to greed.

fckreddit,

Yeah, man. It is so infuriating. We deserve better than this piece of shit.

fckreddit,

This. AIs are basically garbage in, garbage out systems. More general an AI system harder it will be tailor to a specific game. That means companies will need their own training data to supplement it. AI is not “plug anywhere, do anything” type of a solution.

fckreddit,

I am trying to see if that guy is serious or satire. I am leaning towards satire.

fckreddit,

That would be detriment to everything that is Resident Evil. RE as a horror experience needs to be very curated, which is generally not possible with an open world game.

fckreddit,

More microtransactions? More battle passes?
