mfat, to linux in Linux users with uncommon or unusual setups: tell us about it

Yes I do. I have hooked up my x86 openwrt router to my fiber modem.

mfat, to linux in As a linux user, do you know about/use openwrt?

Nowadays you can easily run it on a single board computer like the raspberry pi or any x86 mini pcs. You just need to hook up an access point for Wi-Fi which doesn’t need to be able to run openwrt.

mfat, to linux in As a linux user, do you know about/use openwrt?

That’s exactly what I do. You can keep your ISP router and hook up your openwrt router to one of its lan ports and have two wifi networks.

Not sure how unusual it is but I run openwrt x86 on a fanless Asus mini PC as my main router at home.

He has a retro vibe going on which i like a lot. He reminds me of joy of old-school computing in 2000s.

Thanks much!

Thanks. I want to run linux because that’s what I’ve used for the past 15 years :) The company I work for has provided us with intel Macbooks, but rarely use it. Instead i do all my work using my own Thinkbook 14s Yoga running Fedora.
