i feel bad for the developers who worked on it because from what i played so far it looks like a surprising amount of love and care was put into the game. they didn’t need something like this at all to get generally favorable first impressions. shameful display from the suits who are always ready to ruin everything.

yes, and I’m so sick of this attitude. this is not a messed up launch that you fix with updates. this was a business decision. a deliberate one. this wasn’t a bug, it wasn’t a mistake, and it wasn’t a misunderstanding. this was a test.

yes. that’s the message. don’t fix your transgressions after you realize you couldn’t get away with it. don’t do it in the first place. and don’t do it next time. cause there will be a next time.

no brownie points if you steal a wallet and you graciously give it back when you get caught. that’s not “fixing your mistake”.

on an unrelated note, people who squeeze in what os they use to every conversation also rises to 4%.

nah it’s just a reputation because people who make these choices usually try to spread the word, but sometimes it becomes perceived as obnoxious. vegans just got a bad reputation because it was relatively early internet days, i haven’t seen vegans being as obnoxious as weed smokers, for example.

now, weed smoking is objectively not a better lifestyle choice but i think they’re much much worse than vegans ever were. has nothing to do with arguing against things, not that I would argue against veganism anyway; i admire the choice.
