I’m currently traveling for months at a time and my homelab has become unreachable to me over VPN due to a unknown complication after a power outage....

Currently, if I upgrade to 555 drivers, my second monitor will not show a display despite it being detected by Plasma and xrandr. Additionally, if I do get past the log screen on wayland, my framerate/refresh rate is abysmal but not reported by xrandr. Unplugging the second monitor fixes the issue....

So in the new upcoming major feature update for IOS, Apple is adding RCS support in there messaging app. What are the privacy implications of adopting RCS?...

To start for anyone that may be concerned by the title, I’ve always considered myself an ally and I’ve supported both family and friends when they came out to me. I’ve always known that it takes a lot of trust for someone to come out like that, and I want to be the friend that they feel safe to talk with about that stuff....

I did the tests on fingerprint.com/demo/ and coveryourtracks.eff.org and they both said I have a unique fingerprint, even when I enabled privacy.resistFingerprinting to True.

Wht would be people’s recommendation between using Molly, Langis and Signal-FOSS? I have always used Molly for years but I’m oen to sometuhing else.
